2 S-125-2TM PECHORA-2TM adms S-125-2TM PECHORA-2TM MEDIUM RANGE AIR defense MISSILE SYSTEM The S-125-2TM Pechora-2TM Air Defense Missile System (ADMS) is designed to fight modern and prospective aerial attack assets in the complex jamming environment. The Pechora-2TM ADMS enables efficient destruction of low-altitude and small-size targets under the conditions of all types of jamming. The Pechora-2TM ADMS can be employed to destroy ground and water-surface targets. In order to increase the jamming immunity the upto-date technical solutions, digital algorithms of signal processing and moving target selection are employed in the S-125-2ТМ Pechora-2ТМ ADMS. In order to provide radar surveillance and target designation a meter-band radar P-18T/TRS-2D can additionally be attached to the S-125-2ТМ Pechora-2ТМ ADMS, which supersedes the two radars P-18 and P-19. The S-125-2ТМ Pechora-2ТМ ADMS can integrate in any Air Defence System employing various types of combat control posts and reconnaissance assets. The S-125-2ТМ Pechora-2ТМ ADMS can interface with the Customer s identification friend or foe system. THE COMPOSITION OF S-125-2TM PECHORA-2TM adms The Pechora-2TM ADMS is composed of the following assets: Combat assets: SNR-125-2TM Missile Guidance Radar: UNV-2TM Antenna Post; UNK-2TM Control Cabin; 5P73-2TM Launchers; SAES-2TM Autonomous Power Supply System; 5V27 Surface-to-Air Guided Missiles (SAM). Engineering support assets: AE UNV-2TM Special antenna erector on high cross-country capacity automobile chassis (6x6); TRV-2TM Transportation-and-reloading vehicle. COMBAT ASSETS SNR-125-2TM Missile Guidance Radar UNV-2TM Antenna Post 5P73-2TM Launchers SAES-2TM Autonomous Power Supply System UNK-2TM Control Cabin 5V27 SAM 5V27 SAM 5V27 SAM ENGINEERING SUPPORT ASSETS AE UNV-2TM Special antenna erector TRV-2TM transportation-and-loading vehicles
3 SNR-125-2TM MISSILE GUIDANCE RADAR The SNR-125-2TM Missile Guidance Radar comprising UNV-2TM Antenna Post and the UNK-2TM Control Cabin is a three-coordinate pulse Doppler target acquisition, tracking and missile guidance radar. The SNR-125-2ТМ is designed to solve the following tasks: target search, acquisition based on target designation data or autonomously; automatic or manual tracking of one or two targets assigned (selected) for engagement; preparation of firing input data; automatic launch preparation and missile launching; automatic tracking and guidance of missiles at the target; evaluation of firing results. The SNR-125-2ТМ features two target channels and two missile channels. It means that the SNR-125-2ТМ is capable of engaging either two targets with two missiles or one target with two missiles. unv-2tm ANTENNA POST The UNV-2ТM is mounted on a UV-600-2ТМ wheeled semi-trailer. In order to transfer this antenna post into the combat / march position a special antenna erector (AE UNV-2TM) is used. The special antenna erector transports the UNV-2ТM antenna post (in the march position), cable networks and other transportable equipment. The following assets are installed in the UNV-2TM: antenna-waveguide system radio transmitting device command radio transmitter radio receiving devices of the target and missile sighting channels EOS-2TM mixed electro-optical system (EOS) interfacing and communication instrumentation. UNV-2TM is equipped with the EOS comprising: IR day/night channel TV cameral instrumentation for automatic tracking of targets instrumentation for information displaying UNV-2TM Antenna Post in the combat position AE UNV-2TM Special Antenna Erector
4 S-125-2TM PECHORA-2TM adms unk-2tm CONTROL CABIN The Control Cabin constitutes an equipment shelter mounted on a 6x6 cross-country automobile chassis. Control Cabin Automated Workstations of Combat Crew Personnel The following assets are accommodated in the Control Cabin: automated workstations (AWS) of combat crew personnel outfitted with high resolution color LCD monitors functional check and combat crew training instrumentation digital instrumentation of the coordinate determination device and command generation device control equipment of the power supply system interface and communication equipment air conditioning and heating system SPTA kit. The built-in technical control system of the Control Cabin ensures troubleshooting and output of information about faulty units, subunits and cells. 5p73-2tm LAUNCHER The Launcher is designed for pre-launch preparation of missiles, aiming them in azimuth and elevation to fire into the SNR-125-2TM scanning sector, enabling missile launches. One Launcher cradles four type 5V27 missiles. The Launchers are equipped with hydraulic emplacement/displacement systems (for transferring the launchers to the combat and march positions). The time required for transferring the Launcher from the march position to the combat position and back does not exceed 10 minutes for each. 5P73-2TM Launcher
5 SAES-2tm autonomous POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM The autonomous power supply system of the S-125-2ТМ Pechora-2ТМ ADMS is intended for distribution of electric power between consumers. The SAES-2ТМ comprises the SAES-UNV system for autonomous power supply to the antenna post, frequency converter and the SAES-UNK system for autonomous power supply to the control cabin. The SAES-UNV is a mobile electric power plant whose equipment is mounted on a van-type trailer and provides 3-phase 230 V 50 Hz power supply to the ADMS consumers in remote or local control mode from the following power sources: from two АD48 diesel electric power plants working in parallel mode with a capacity of 50 kw each; from one priority АD48 diesel electric power plant; from industrial sources (industrial power grid); from the SAES-UNK system. The SAES-UNK system is an autonomous power supply system mounted in the technological compartment of the UNK-2ТМ control cabin and is designed to provide 3-phase 230 V 50 Hz power supply to the UNK-2TM control cabin and other components of the S-125-2TM Pechora-2TM ADMS as a standby power supply during combat duty and scheduled maintenance. SAES-UNV System TRV-2TM transportation-and-reloading vehicle The transportation-and-reloading vehicle is designed for storage, transportation and reloading of up to 4 pcs. of 5V27 SAM of any modification as well as for transportation of the 5P73-2TM launcher. The TPM-2TM comprises the following: 6x6 cross-country automobile chassis; Crane-manipulator; Logements for 5V27 SAMs stowage. The design of the logements enables transportation of 4 pcs. of 5V27 SAM. The TPM-2TM ensures loading and unloading of the 5P73-2TM launcher including loading and unloading operations performed at unprepared operating site when no access routes are available.
