The TruMark Series 6000 marking lasers offer you high performance combined with excellent beam quality. They are available for the infrared and ultraviolet wavelengths. Their particular strengths are extremely short processing times, excellent marking precision, and constant marking quality. You can even use two scanner optics per laser head, which increases your output considerably. The TruMark Series 6000 lasers are typically used for processing plastics, metals, ceramics, glass and a variety of organic materials. You can find out more about the TruMark series lasers and their applications, and about the TruMark Station marking system, in the separate brochure Marking with TruMark: Marked simplicity. 35

TruMicro The TruMicro short and ultra-short pulsed lasers enable micromachining with a perfect combination of quality, productivity and profitability. Whether for structuring, ablation, cutting or drilling, the laser has become indispensable in microproduction technology. TRUMPF provides innovative solid-state lasers precisely tailored to these processing tasks. TruMicro Series 2000 Optical design of a TruMicro laser. What makes the TruMicro Series 2000 fiber-based picosecond lasers impressive is their compact, lightweight construction. Their low average outputs make them ideal for cutting films or ablating thin layers. TruMicro Series 3000 TruMicro: Benfits at a glance. 1 2 High beam quality for absolute precision. Maximum productivity and profitability. The modular design and compact construction of the TruMicro Series 3000 nanosecond lasers makes them easy to integrate in your industrial production lines. They are used wherever high-precision and reproducible ablation of material is important. Typical applications include the ablation of thin layers in solar cells, the structuring of semiconductors and metal oxides as well as the drilling of glass. 3 4 Zero or only targeted heat penetration. High stability for optimum quality. 36

Left: TruMicro Series Right: Edge deletion with the TruMicro Left: Laser processed brittle materials. Right: Drilled PCB. TruMicro Series 5000 TruMicro Series 7000 The TruMicro Series 5000 pico- and femtosecond lasers are particularly impressive thanks to their extremely short pulses of less than 10 ps and high pulse energies of up to 250 μj. They vaporize almost any material so fast that there is no detectable influence of heat. This makes them ideal for processing semiconductor materials, metals, dielectrics, plastics and glass. The TruMicro Series 7000 high-power nanosecond lasers are based on disk laser technology and combine short pulses and high pulse energies even at high frequencies. This enables fast ablation of layers over a large area as well as drilling or cutting at very high throughput rates. Thanks to flexible beam guidance using laser light cables, you can integrate the laser easily into your production facility. You can find out more about the TruMicro series lasers and their applications in the separate brochure TruMicro: Power meets precision. 37

Beam guidance for solidstate lasers. Transporting light with flexibility: the laser light cable. Solid-state lasers can be set up independently of the processing location because their beam can be guided via laser light cables. At the workstation itself, all you need are small and easily integrated optics to focus the laser light on your workpiece. The laser beam can be split or switched between six outputs. In this way, you can supply up to six processing stations at once. You can connect the laser light cable very easily yourself, with its plug-and-play capability. 38

The TRUMPF LaserNetwork. Networking and intelligent distribution with the TRUMPF LaserNetwork, the available laser energy from one or more lasers is used at various different processing stations. This increases not only the utilization rates for individual laser units but also overall system availability. All the necessary information about the laser unit and the optical path are transmitted via the laser light cable even if you unplug and reconnect it. The entire safety circuit is monitored at all times and the safety of the laser is always guaranteed. BEO D25 focusing optics. The right optics for every job. We offer a wide range of focusing optics for all applications for welding, cutting, drilling and coating. All TRUMPF optics can be individually adapted to your requirements with a variety of options. BEO: robust and approved. The BEO focusing optics series consists of three basic models which differ fundamentally in terms of their size and collimator focal length. Depending on the laser used, focal diameters of between 10 μm and 1 mm can be achieved. The BEO D25 focusing optics are the most compact optics in the series. They are used for welding using pulsed lasers of up to 200 W and can be particularly well integrated into automatic assembly machines. The BEO D35 is used for welding, cutting or drilling using pulsed or cw solid-state lasers up into the kilowatt range. The BEO D70 focusing optics are impressive thanks to their large working distances and small focal diameter combined with laser powers which extend into the high kilowatt range. More than 10,000 BEO series focusing optics are being used reliably in industrial settings. BEO D35 focusing optics with camera. BEO D70 focusing optics. 39

Beam guidance for solidstate lasers. Controlled focusing optics CFO. Reflective focusing optics RFO. CFO: controlled functions. RFO: minimized focus shift. The focusing optics in the CFO series are similar to the BEO series in terms of the design of the optics. However, they also have sensors for monitoring operation. They check the soiling of the cover slide, the temperature and flow rate of cooling water and shielding gas and also the pressure of the cross jet. At your request, the monitoring data can be called up by our service specialists via the TelePresence portal. This makes it possible to diagnose and rectify errors quickly and over the entire beam path, too. RFO reflective focusing optics are used for welding in combination with high-brilliance lasers and high laser power. The objective is to guarantee minimal focus shift during processing and ensure reproducible results. Special mirrors are used for this purpose instead of transmissive optical components. In the RFO, camera surveillance can be performed by the mirror, enabling an extremely compact design. Another advantage of the RFO is the optional monitoring of the cover slide, which immediately notifies you when the cover slide needs to be replaced. 40

PFO 3D programmable focusing optics. PFO 20 programmable focusing optics. Programmable and dynamic. The programmable focusing optics in the PFO series are scanner optics for welding. The laser beam is positioned inside the processing field with the aid of two mirrors. The change in direction of the mirrors is very precise and highly dynamic. They are used in combination with pulsed or cw solid-state lasers to weld spots and seams without moving your workpiece or the focusing optics. Thanks to the F-theta lens, the focusing conditions and the processing quality are identical at every point in the processing field. We offer the programmable focusing optics in four models: The PFO 14 and 20 are used in particular for spot and seam welding in relatively small work areas. The PFO 33 and the PFO 3D are combined with a laser of high beam quality such as the TruDisk laser. This makes them suitable for remote welding, which is to say welding at large working distances. With the PFO 3D you can even perform welding tasks at different levels, as the integrated Z-axis enables the focal distance to be varied by up to 140 mm. Synchronizing the control unit of the PFO with that of a robot significantly increases your processing range. For manual applications. For manual welding, we offer focusing optics with a stereomicroscope. Combined with the integrated glare shield, you are able to see everything and achieve outstanding quality. Even the finest of welding wires can be processed by hand. The diameter of the weld point can be customized to the respective task with a motorized adjustment. 41
