Once you are on the registration site, click the REGISTER FOR AUCTION button and enter your information. Be sure to enter the MOBILE phone number that you will use to bid from on this page. Click SUBMIT REGISTRATION when done and you will receive your registration text messages from Qtego. Click your personal link in the second text message and you are ready to start bidding! HOW DO I BID ON AN ITEM? If using the QSite, click on the item picture that you want to bid on, and then click the SUBMIT BID button. If texting, text the item number followed by the bid amount, ex: will bid $500 on item 123. You will then receive a confirmation text from Qtego. If you do not have a smartphone, mobile phone or access to the internet, Qtego representatives in orange shirts will be available to place bids for you. CAN I BID MORE THAN THE BIDDING INCREMENTS? Yes. The bidding increment is the lowest amount that you can increase the bid. You may bid any whole dollar amount over that amount. DO I HAVE TO INCLUDE DOLLAR SIGNS OR DECIMALS? No. All bids and donations should be made in whole dollar amounts (no decimals) and the dollar sign is not needed. HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE BEEN OUTBID? You will receive a text message alerting you that you have been outbid. You can also visit your My Activity page on the QSite to view the status of the items that you have bid on and the items that you are watching. GENERAL AUCTION RULES Full payment by the winning bidder must be made this evening by credit card, check or cash. Visa, Master Card, American Express and debit cards are accepted. Checks should be made payable to Charity Works, Inc. All sales are final and not exchangeable. All certificates and gift cards have no cash value. 12 ABOUT CHARITY WORKS, INC. Charity Works, Inc. in Clearwater, Florida is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is Helping Those Who Help Others. Since 1996, the organization has been providing purchasing advisory services to benefit charitable and educational nonprofit organizations. The organization provides job skills training for students and displaced workers in its Teach & Reach program and operates a wellness-medical aid program called GIVE HOPE USA. This program provides economically disadvantaged individuals and families with health and wellness packs that are distributed primarily through local participating nonprofit agencies and schools. Also, Charity Works operates a fringe benefit and customer loyalty program called CaringPerks that rewards nonprofit employees for their community service and encourages active volunteerism. The programs and services of Charity Works are designed to promote a more efficient cycle of giving and benefiting local communities by developing relationships among and between donors, vendors and nonprofits.
