The Company has been a valuable and extremely appreciated corporate community partner for numerous years. C.C. Disposal Service is located at 2303 County Rd. 30 and is an integrated solid waste company that provides waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services within a 15-county region surrounding Corpus Christi. C.C. Disposal Service has been in business since C.C. Disposal Service employees are involved in several non-profit organizations, and are currently undergoing a food drive for the Corpus Christi Food Bank, which distributes food to poor for the entire region surrounding Nueces County. Being a member of the Aransas Pass Chamber of Commerce is part of the commitment encouraged by our parent company, Waste Connections of Texas. Our employees volunteer for Shrimporee, and many other community events. One of our employees also serves on the Chamber s board of directors. 3 A big thank you to AEP Texas for sponsoring our Breakfast & Learning Seminar on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness on November 16th, 2016 at the AP Civic Center. Aransas Pass Police Dept and Emergency Management, Capt. Lynn Pearce and Autumn Lotze of SBP spoke at the center informing guests on practical ways to protect their people, property, and operations and gave the tools and resources to take action. Business owners were taught how to create and review their business continuity plan to protect assets, operations and employees. They then received a resilience checklist with action plan for getting prepared and a resource guide with tools, templates and list of federal and local assistance organizations. Business owners learned how to prepare an emergency action plan all while enjoying breakfast provided by AEP Texas. Visiting research professor at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi, Dr. Mark Weaver stopped by the Aransas Pass Civic Center to speak to entrepreneurs on how to enhance their entrepreneurship. Identifying business opportunities, transforming an idea into a product or service, financing options, and participating in a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem were all topic of discussion while guests enjoyed catering by Mac s Barbeque!

4 Leadership Aransas Pass Class V Session 3 Education and Community Support Leadership Aransas Pass, Class V met for session 3 at the Chamber. Realtor, Lisa Barker of Coldwell Banker Myers Gallagher and graduate of LAP Class III facilitated the Education and Community Support Session. Participants received look into the APISD Education System and Community Support of Aransas Pass. They discovered the many excellent community support groups that make a huge impact on the community and toured the schools of APISD and visited with the principals and also school superintendent.
