He has been involved in much of the replanning of the downtown core of Hamilton and, in particular, in the design of Hamilton Place, the Art Gallery and the Trade and Convention Centre in Hamilton. Mr. Garwood-Jones is an elected member of the Governing Council of the Ontario Association of Architects, a member of the Board of Governors on the Dundas Valley School of Art and the Hamilton Orchestra. Dufferin Grant Review Team John Spencer Finch John Spencer Finch, of Orangeville, was a Social Work Supervisor with Dufferin County Children's Aid Society, Administrator of Social Services and Family Benefits with the Dufferin County Social Services and co-owner of Sutton Group-Cornerstone Realty Inc. Ms. Linton has been involved in the community with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Care and the Ontario Women's Health Council. MINISTRY OF HEALTH AND LONG TERM CARE Board of Health for the Eastern Ontario Health Unit Marcel C. Leduc Marcel C. Leduc, of Cornwall, was employed by Nabisco Brands Limited for 30 years. He retired as Director of Sales for the Region of Montreal. Council of the Royal Colle2e of Dental SurKeons of Ontario Mary Ann Labaj Stanley C. Spencer Nominated as members Mary Ann Labaj, of Oshawa, was an Administrative/Sales Representative, Mutual Funds, with TPA Financial Services and the Ukranian National Federation. She was Branch Manager of Ukranian Credit Union Limited and Office/Accounting Manager of West Instruments. Ms. Labaj has been involved in the community with the Multicultural Council Oshawa/Durham, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and the St. George's Ukranian Catholic Women's League. Stanley C. Spencer, of Toronto, is a Chartered Accountant. He is a partner with Mintz and Partners, assisting clients in start-ups, business management and tax planning. Mr. Spencer has been involved in the community with the Baycrest Centre Endowment Foundation Board, the Big Brothers Program, the Tea Bobbe Charitable Foundation and Leave Out Violence Charitable Foundation. He is currently an Accounts Manager for Le Maitre Special Effects. Mr. Valenza was employed by System and Software Consulting and was involved in the development and installation of a small network for a Medical Centre. Council of the Colleee of Midwives of Ontario Fatima Kapasi Fatima Kapasi, of Kitchener, is employed by the Canada Employment and Immigration Centre, coordinating life skill projects with refugee women's groups. She has been involved in the community with the Education and Media Outreach Committees, the Working Group for Refugee Women, the Race Relations Board, the Ontario Immigrant and Visible Minority Women's Network and Newcomer Language and Orientation Programs. Council of the Colleee of Optometrists of Ontario Nathalie Pardy Nathalie Pardy, of Oshawa, is owner and operator of Gagnon Sports in Oshawa. She is Vice Chair of the Roger Pardy Memorial Scholarship Trust Fund and a member of the Oshawa Ski Club. Council of the Colleee of Physicians and Sureeons of Ontario Jagan N. Dhawan Jagan N. Dhawan, of Mississauga, is President of Dixie Travels and Tours Limited. He was a Secondary School Mathematics Teacher and Site Director, International Languages Programme for the Peel Board of Education. Mr. Dhawan has been involved in the community with the National Association of Indo-Canadians, the Carassauga Festival Inc., the Children's Aid Society for the Region of Peel and The Distress Line. He was employed as a teacher and as a baseball and hockey coach. Mr. Weeks is currently Vice-Chair of the Regional Executive Committee of OPSEU Region #2 - retired members. Durham. Haliburton. Kawartha and Pine Rid2e District Health Council Roger R. Cook Donald D. Curtis Ross Fitchett Nominated as members Roger R. Cook, of Lindsay was Vice-President of Inpatient Care and Ambulatory Services at Ross Memorial Hospital. He was Director of Nursing at Belville General Hospital and Clinical Supervisor at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Mr. Cook has been involved in the community with the Sir Sanford Fleming Community College. Donald D. Curtis, of Peterborough, is a physician who provided medical services at the Peterborough Clinic. He was a member of active staff at Civic Hospital and Chief of Staff and served as Chair of the Hospital's Emergency Delivery Committee and the Quality Assurance Committee. Ross Fitchett, of Lakefield, retired from Ontario Power Generation in September From 1971 to retirement, he worked in a number of locations across Ontario for Ontario Hydro and Ontario Power Generation in Public Relations/Media Relations/Customer Service. Mr. Fitchett also held positions with the Bruce Nuclear Site, Wesleyville, Darlington, Pickering Head Office and the Regional Offices in North York and Markham. Halton-Peel District Health Council Jatinder S. Dhillon Jatinder S. Dhillon, of Mississauga, is a family physician at the Credit Valley Hospital. He is also President of the Credit Valley Hospital Medical Staff Association. Dr. Dhillon is a member of the Ontario Medical Association, the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians and a member of the Community Education Committee at Credit Valley Hospital. Page4 of 8

Eyles, of Greensville, is a Professor in the Department of Geography at McMaster University, Chair of the Eco Research Program in Environmental Health and Director of the Institute of Environment and Health. Dr. Eyles served as an advisor to the Committee on Resource Allocation Strategies and the Review Committee of the Health Care System Research Program, Ontario Ministry of Health. MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY Township of North Grenville Police Services Board Grant Brown Grant Brown, of Kemptville, owned several funeral homes in Kemptville, Prescott and Spencerville. He has been involved in the community with the North Grenville Chamber of Commerce, the Kemptville District Hospital, the North Grenville Hospice Board of Directors, the Lion's Club and the Masonic Lodge #28. City of Thunder Bay Police Services Board Marvin Pelletier Marvin Pelletier, of Thunder Bay, is employed by Capital Project Development and Management which is involved in the development of several projects, including the partnership with Bowater Canadian Forest Products Inc. to build a new Sawmill. He was also employed by Fort William First Nation as a Band Manager and was responsible for the overall operation and development of Fort William First Nation. Page 5 of 8

He is President of H. Blass & Associates Inc. which provides bookkeeping, management and accounting services. He was Vice-President of Career Path Personnel and Controller of Lanni Group. Mr. Blass has been involved in the community with the Lakeshore Yacht Club, the Port Credit Yacht Club, the Shaar Shalom Synagogue and the Forestdale Heights Lodge of B'nai Birth. Richard Clement, of Sudbury, is the owner and operator of Ambassador Hotel and was President of the Sudbury and District Hotel Motel Association. He was Executive Director of the Ontario Restaurant and Hotel and Motel Association and President of Northeastern Skal Club. Michel Dalaire, of Sturgeon Falls. was the owner of a Photo Studio, a Taxidermist Studio and was an assistant manager for Miracle Mart. He was a Municipal Councillor for Springer and has been involved in the community with the West Nipissing Economic Development Corporation Real Estate Board Committee, the West Nipissing General Hospital, the Voyageur Heritage Network and the Lake Nipissing North Shore Tourist Association. Sergio Della Fortuna, of Grimsby, owns and operates Fortuna's in Binbrook. He spent many years in the security systems business and was a police officer with the Hamilton-Wentworth Regional Police Service. Mr. Della Fortuna also served in the Canadian Armed Forces. Frederick Goebel, of London, is a current member of the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and the Ontario Association of Police Chiefs. He was a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the London Urban Alliance on Race Relations, the Children's Safety Village, the Mayor's Downtown Action Team and the London Police Services Board Bargaining Committee. 8 MINISTRY OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND SECURITY - cont'd Ontario Parole and Earned Release Board Guy Lauzon, of St. Andrews West, was employed by Human Resources Canada where he was responsible for all aspects of management of both the Cornwall and Hawkesbury Centres. He has spearheaded a million dollar fundraising drive to build an aquatic centre in Cornwall. Ralph Myers, of Newmarket, is a professional engineer and, until 1990, President of Combined Engineering Services. Mr. Myers has been involved in the community with the Metropolitan Toronto Police 54 Division, Concerned Citizens of Ontario and the College of Dental Technologists of Ontario. Dawn Elizabeth Sullivan, of Nepean, is a Senior legal Assistant with Mosaid Technologies Inc. She was Projects Manager and Assistant Programs Coordinator in the Office of Governor George W. Bush. Ms. Sullivan has been involved in the community with the Ontario Board of Parole and the Office of Victims of Crime. Marlene Viau, of Kemptville, is Chair and CEO of the National Committee to Reduce Auto Theft. She was a Teller, Accounting Clerk and Leasing Supervisor with the Bank of Nova Scotia. Ms. Viau has been involved in the community with the Bishop's Advisory Council on Clergy Abuse, Victims of Sexual Abuse Program and Auto 21 National Centre of Excellence - Research Management Committee. MINISTRY OF TRAINING, COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES Ontario Educational Communications Authority (TVO) Nancy Smith Nancy Smith, of Toronto, is the Founder and CEO of the Next Media Company Limited and a monthly columnist with Broadcast Dialogue. She was President of Canwest Global Communications Corporation and Vice-President of The Global Television Network. Ms. Smith is Director/member of the Risk Management Committee of B2B Trust, a subsidiary of the Laurentian Bank of Canada, Vice-Chair/member of the Executive and Finance Committees with the Board of Trade and Director/member of the Steering Committee of Lakefield College School.
