1 CWU Jazz Specialization Degree Jury Rubric Name Quality Ratings: must be rated at 8 or above or the item will not be passed off Ratings: 0-5 = unacceptable performance, 6-7 = developing, but not fully formed concepts, 8-9 = concepts fully formed with minor deficiencies, 10 = every facet of performance is outstanding. Ratings will encompass the following musical skills: time & rhythmic feel, intonation, articulation and phrasing. Tempos on tunes: these are all from the Aebersold series except those marked with an asterisk, which will use BIAB tracks.
