In this video training, I m going to talk to you about the 6 Keys to Making Your Website Powerfully Magnetic, so you can attract ideal fans, prospects, clients, mentors and allies who are aligned with your mission, so you can co-create value, prosperity, and a greater good. Every single day there are hundreds of thousands of people looking for answers to problems that you know how to solve, online. Every single day there are tens of thousands of people looking for help right now, from a human being, related to the expertise you posess. Every single day, thousands of people are ready and willing to pay a premium for the products or services you offer. And of those people, some of them will be such perfect-fit clients that it feels like you make magic together. At the same time, there are just as many people who deeply resonate with your mission, that they feel called to support you in some way. They may be inspired to publicize your work or be motivated to refer customers to you. They may want to work for you in fact the opportunity to be a

2 member of your team inspires a deep sense of purpose, because it feels like together you are igniting a movement. These people exist. They are out there. How do you get found? How do you connect? And most importantly, how do you co-create win-win relationships? It starts with having a web presence. A magnetic web presence. One that attracts ideal visitors and inspires them to stay connected with you. A magnetic presence starts with your website. 1. Make Your Visual Brand Irresistible. Your website needs to feel like home to your ideal customers. The look and feel of your website needs to be visually appealing to the people you want to attract. The color scheme, fonts, and images on your website all need to work together to communicate an experience that your ideal customer finds desireable. Your website doesn t have to be overly complex, slick or fancy to be appealing to high-end clients. For example, there is no need to spend a lot of money on a visually-impressive, Flash-animated home page that autoplays music. Most people are simply trying to figure out if you can help them in fast, efficient way. So any bells and whistles like annoying music that won t turn off - that get in the way of your visitors getting what they need from your website quickly will likely repel them right away, never to return. 2. Use Words That Resonate With Your Ideal Audience. The message you share and the language you use needs to hook the attention of your ideal customers. For example, if you are marketing to a conscious, spiritually inclined audience, your audience may prefer the phrase creating abundance over making money. If you are marketing to lawyers, chances are, your web copy will include more legalese.

3 The best way to write website copy that is captivating to your ideal customer is to get a clear idea of who that person is, what their struggles, hopes and dreams are, what their life is like. Come up with an ideal client avatar and give that avatar a name. Then orient all your website copywriting to speak to that one client avatar, as if you were a good friend. When your ideal client lands on your website and reads your words, it will feel like the website was created especially for them. 3. Attract People Onto Your List With Premium Content. It s easy to dive into creating great content on your website and forget to take the one important step that will hugely impact your ability to monetize your website. That s getting one, or more optin boxes up on your website in order to build your list. Providing great content on your website is a great way to get discovered online, especially if you are optimizing your content for search-related keywords. But if you want to turn browsers into buyers, the best way is to get those visitors onto your list by offering subscriber-only content that builds trust and credibility, which leads to sales. 4. Make It Easy to Connect. There s nothing more frustrating than discovering an awesome, value-packed website and being unable to connect with the creator of the website to figure out how you might be able to hire them or buy their stuff. Do make it easy for people to connect with you, without having to dig through your website for contact information. You also should have a Contact Us page with a web form that sends messages to your , rather than put your address on the webpage. That way you can avoid having your harvested by spammers. If you are a local business, you want to put your phone number and address on the footer of every page that will help your local SEO,

4 especially if you ve claimed your Google Business Listing. Claiming your Google Business Listing will allow you to have a pin on Google maps and appear in local search. You can embed your Google map listing in your Contact Us page to make it easy for local customers to get to your location. If you are a service professional, having an online booking form will save a lot of time ing back and forth to get an appointment scheduled. Most online calendar systems send out automated reminders, which reduces missed appointments. 5. Make Buying a No-Brainer. If you want to build an online business you can run from anywhere in the world, you must be willing to sell something online. That means having a page that describes your product or service and a checkout button that is integrated with your e-commerce system. If you are selling a high-end, custom consulting package, creating a sales page for your $10-20K service that is based on each client s specific needs may not be feasible. However, having a checkout URL that will process an installment plan paid via credit card that is ready to go is a huge timesaver. 6. Create Content that Can Be Found and Shared. Once you ve gotten your optin forms set up and your e-commerce going, then you want to start creating value-packed content that can be discovered and shared online. Write informative blog posts that are optimized for the search engine keywords that your ideal client may using when he or she is searching for information related to your products or services in Google. This search engine optimized content is the secret sauce that makes your website more and more magnetic over time. If your site is brand new, it won t have much authority, so don t expect to get a lot of search engine traffic from these articles - they will serve more as credibility pieces for visitors that do arrive. As your content grows, as other websites link to yours, and as your website ages,

5 your website gains more authority in the eyes of Google, and your webpages will attract more traffic. Be sure to include social sharing buttons to make it easy for people to share your content with their social networks.
