2 PERISCOPE CHALLENGE DAY 1 WRITING YOUR LISTENER TO LEADS SCRIPT The biggest challenge I see when it comes to generating leads with Periscope is that people are not prepared to go for the ask - but not you, not after this challenge! If you struggle asking people to join your list and get your freebie, today we solve that problem by giving you a proven script to get people HUNGRY to download what you ve got! It s a simple 3 step process Hop on Periscope and deliver high quality content for minutes, no pitch yet - just good quality content that is directly related to your freebie Deliver your proven Listener to Leads script (below) and end with a link. Make the link VERY simple, such as heartsoulhustle.com/challenge so that people can remember it and type it in on their phone Stick around for 5-10 minutes minimum to answer any questions that pop up and seed your freebie. 3 That s it! That s how I turn listeners into leads, and I do it on a DAILY basis - so it works! Once you craft your devilishly simple, and high effect listeners to leads script head over to Facebook and leave a comment on Today s Post with it - I want to hear what you come up with! 4 PERISCOPE CHALLENGE DAY 2 IT S TIME TO HIT THAT START BUTTON You KNOW you have to just hit start, but what the heck are you supposed to say when that camera is rolling? Don t worry I m gonna break this down to 5-steps for you! If you follow this 5-step system that I share here (and put it into action) you ll get engagement and more importantly you ll get conversions & leads! Intro & Welcome Spend about seconds welcoming everyone in, tell them who you are, and share what you ll cover today. Keep it short, sweet, and to the point - no one wants to watch you say hi to EVERYONE that comes in for 5 mins, okay? Share This Out Tell your audience you want them to share this broadcast. Don t just expect people will share because it s good - they will share because you ask them to. Trust me okay? Give Em The Goods Spend Minutes just delivering solid content. Don t withhold answers, just give them a gentle reminder That s it - hit those 5 points and you re aces for a killer broadcast. 6 PERISCOPE CHALLENGE DAY 3 UP-LEVELING YOUR LEAD CAPTURES You re starting to feel good about hitting that broadcast button, you have the flow and the script to bring more people in - now we just need to crank the dial up. Today I wanna give you three quick and dirty tips that will allow you to get even more leads with periscope - and yes, these are all tested proven by yours truly! Throw a link in your bio with a brief description The unique thing about Periscope is that if someone would like to follow you they must FIRST look at your bio. Throw a 4-5 word description of your freebie, and a link including the and it becomes clickable. The key that people miss is the short description that tells people WHY to click! Buy a domain (optional) While I won t require you to buy a domain for this challenge - having easy to remember domains like periscopeworkbook.com that I set to forward people to my freebie has been AMAZING. Why? They are easy to remember, easy to share, and they are cheap but make you look fancy. People trust fancy people - no really. The instant authority and credibility in this tip automatically helps you tip viewers over the edge and into leads Make Them Feel Left Out Okay this isn t as bad as it sounds! But in a broadcast after you ve been doing this for a while and you recognize names you can say who here has my free guide and when a bunch of HEART, SOUL & HUSTLE PERISCOPE 5 DAY CHALLENGE P. 6

7 people in the audience say me it makes everyone else feel like they need it too! Just by mentioning that they are missing out they get hungry to opt-in and get your free content. This is a secret I ve NEVER shared before - good thing YOU decided to take the challenge right? 8 PERISCOPE CHALLENGE DAY 4 PERFECTING YOUR PITCH So by now you ve optimized your lead process a bit, people are joining your list - but now you ve got your eye on the brand new ipad Pro (I do too, because I mean it comes with a freakin digital pencil - That. Is. DOPE!) In order to buy the sweetest ipad in the land you have to get paid - and that s what we re going to do today. Now for today s challenge I d recommend one of two things. 1) If you re a coach or a service provider, sell a free discovery call and get people signed up for a time on your calendar. (Use a service like calendly or acuity to send them to a digital calendar sign up page) 2) If you sell digital or physical products I d recommend a product around or under the $97 price point - not because you can t sell higher on Periscope (I ve sold up to $1500 personally) but because it s an easy sell on Periscope! Let s get you a win! Do I have permission to blow your mind now? Because I m gonna. Selling your product is JUST like converting people to your freebie! Yup, that s it. Instead of saying check out my freebie after offering a ton of value, you simply say check out my $97 product and get it now! Are there some subtleties to the sale? Sure! (We might even talk about some of those tomorrow) Don t let the minor details trip you up. Here s my simple sales formula: Showing Up + Giving Mad Value + A Perfected Pitch = $$$ (And a New ipad) The truth about Periscope is that if you can show up for minutes and show people who they really are, you can establish trust quickly - then they want to take it to the next level and all you re doing is giving them the link and order form to do so! Passive Sales, Active Sales, and High Power Sales. As you move from Passive Sales to High Power Sales, conversion rates go up, but so does the sales intensity. So you can t always be high power selling, but you can always be passive selling, got it? Again - I can ALWAYS be selling my free and paid products on Periscope with this system... That s power! Today I want to introduce these to you so that no matter what going forward, you can always be selling your free and/or paid content! So here s how they work: Passive Selling This is the art of casually dropping what you sell inside of high value content. For example: Getting people to share your broadcast is so important, which is why I cover it inside my premium course Rock Your Scopes Active Selling This is the art of selling the program. Listing the features, giving the well crafted pitch - letting them know how and why they should buy. 11 everyone in the room is fully aware that they are being sold (but they don t mind because it s on the tail of value) High Power Selling This is when you take active selling to the next level by giving them a reason to buy RIGHT NOW. High Power selling converts VERY WELL but if you do it all the time it gets annoying and it loses it s wow factor!
