Complete the Cluster Finder (Career Tab) 5. Begin researching careers and colleges

5 Creating your Resume Login to your Naviance account (your Username & password should be your address and password provided during registration. If you are having trouble or need to register, please see your school counselor.) Go to the About Me Tab CLICK on Resume and begin building your resume The drop down menu contains the various categories you can provide information for. It is not necessary to complete the Objective or Summary sections at this time. Suggested categories for completion are : *Work experience *Education *Extracurricular activities *Skills/academic achievement *Music/artistic achievement *Athletic achievement *Volunteer service *Additional information ONLY PROVIDE INFORMATION FOR GRADES 9-12!

6 Resume Using this tool, you will be able to easily compile and produce and save your resume. You should update your resume throughout your high school career, as you achieve new milestones. Start by selecting the Education Category.

7 Resume Continued Enter the information as shown. Then click Add to Resume. If you transferred to Triton from another school, repeat the process to add this information as well. Now go through the additional categories and fill in any information that applies to you. Remember, only include information for grades 9-12, no middle school. If you have nothing to add to a certain area, then don t complete it. If you are unsure of what to put in each field, use the tips that appear on the right side of the screen after making your selection. Make sure to save your progress!!

Do What you are: Personality Type Successful completion of the assessment will generate a report that will provide you with important information about your personal characteristics. You will learn about careers that are matched to you, your personal strengths and blind spots, how you negotiate in your daily life, and a host of other useful information. Career Interest Profiler A tool that can help you discover the types of work activities and careers that match your interests. The interest profiler has 180 questions about work activities that people do at their jobs.
