1 UCAS Progress 2019 Entry Step by Step Guide To start: Search UCAS Progress in google and a link to the UCAS Progress: Log on page should come up 1.Using the log in details given to you by the school, enter your user name and password. This will take you to your own individual homepage. If you have forgotten your password, see Mrs Hix and she will be able to reset it for you.

2 How to fill in your Profile 2.The main screen for UCAS will appear. The first step is to fill in your Profile. If at any point you are confused about the process, please just speak to your Form Tutor or Mrs Hix 3. Once you are on the UCAS Progress Home Page, click on the Profile tab and a summary of your profile will appear.

It is important that the details here are the ones you wish UCAS Progress to use to contact you. NB The Qualifications tab will be filled in by the school at a later date. 5. As you fill in and save each section, the boxes will change to complete. You can check your progress by clicking on the blue box.

When you do this, the summary page will show this section as complete.

7 13. The final section is for your reference. This will be filled in by your Form Tutor so you will not need to do anything with this section.

From the Home page you can put in your postcode and then select a number of options: The furthest distance you would like to travel The place you wish to study at or The course or subjects you are interested in. (You do not have to fill in all of these boxes) Hit search and your options will be listed.

You can also view the results by changing the tabs and looking: By provider On a map You can also filter your results using the different fields. Once you have found a course you like the sound of, you can click Add to Favourites and it will be saved under your Favourites tab for you to find later.

You will get the opportunity to change the order of providers at a later stage, But it is best to apply in the order of preference to avoid confusion later. 19. For each application, tick the course(s) that you want to do and then hit the Save button.

After confirming your preferences, go back to the Applications tab and complete your next application.

Once you have completed your applications, you will see them in the not sent section. At this point, if your applications are in the wrong order, change them now. To take the application to the next stage, click the View button.

14 Applying for courses 22. In the final stages of your application, any issues will be identified before you can submit. Sometimes there might be extra questions to answer, or there may be errors in your application. When you are ready to submit, you need to let Mrs Hix or your Form Tutor know so we can make sure that the reference is complete. Once all issues are resolved and your profile is complete, the submit this application button will turn blue and you will be able to send your application. Once the application is submitted, NOTHING can be changed, so make sure you check, check, and check again!
