At least 4-6 different types of materials are apparent, but the artist needed to be more considerate of final unity. This artist shows full of the use of rhythm and/or pattern in choice of materials and elements utilized throughout the piece. The artist fully engages the viewers eye to move along a particular pathway throughout the piece. The pathway forces consideration of the entire piece. This piece is fully harmonized using elements of design and principles of design. The attempt to do so is readily apparent. o This piece is very wellconstructed and sturdy. o Adhesive does not show OR o lf adhesive does show it is a part of the final design. is suitable for materials employed. not entirely successful. This artist shows a deliberate attempt to create some rhythm and/or pattern within the piece using materials and elements. The artist has attempted to create a pathway for the viewers eye to follow but it does not force consideration of the entire piece. This piece is relatively harmonized utilizing elements and principles, however the artist may have overlooked a more effective manner of harmonizing. This piece is well constructed and sturdy. Adhesive does not show unless a part of final design. There are some areas that need --- reinforcement. There is a deliberate attempt to provide rhythm and/or pattern but it is not successful. There is a vague pathway for the viewer's eye to follow. There is some attempt at harmony, but the idea has not been fully developed to lead to the project's success. For the most part the piece is well constructed.
