1 Roofing Estimator Pro Roof Dimension Drawing Tools Description Of Project Or Scope Of Work Requested What we need is a selection of dynamic drawing tools that will integrate with our current web-based software application Roofing Estimator Pro. The Tools will need to be fully integrated with our customer files, and added to customer line items during print of contracts, and square footage calculation of the roof section. Once we click on the drawing tools icon dialog box open with drawing canvas which is linked to current customer selected.

2 Icon or Navigation Bar should include most of these editing tools - This will allow user to build different roof sections or roofing elevations which are calculated into square feet for each one of these roofing sections (i.e. Main House, Sunroom, Porch Roof, Back Dormer, Garage). Each roof section will have specific name which is automatically added to the estimate total. Once that has been created new editing dialog opens with Roof Dimension Calculator

3 Building customer estimate using the diagrams by adding the length of the home, and the width of the home, and also note that the quantity is 2 which also calculates the number of Total Squares (Formula is 10 x 10 = 100 or 100 square feet).

4 Then add a Waste Percentage field that is fully intergraded with the Total Squares time the percentage which adds to the total squares for the roofing project. (User Added The Percentage Amount Or Pick From Drip Down List See Diagram) Simple math which is in this 45 feet length x 16 feet x 2 sections of roof = 1440 square feet or 1440 or Total Squares (1440 square feet divided by 100 feet = Squares) simple math 100 square feet = 1 square.

5 Once new roof sections have been created there will be a complete roof calculation, and a waste factor needs to also be included in the job.

6 Once the roofing section have been created, and the Total Amount Of Squares have been added to the estimate including the 15% of waste as shown in diagram totaling Squares or 2427 square feet of roofing (2427square feet divided by 100 = Squares) The user will need to Exit the Roof Dimension Calculator. At this time the user will need to add some additional items for the job which will also be included for this roofing job. (Wood Replacement Soffit & fascia..ect.) Once the user has configured the amount of square footage of the roofing job, the selection of the materials should load from our products list with the description & product cost list. This will be the Roofing Estimator Pro Product Selection For The Drawing Tools **Must Have All These Linking To The Customer File Selected During Creation**

7 The project my need to add some of the wood replacement here is another idea of an dialog box showing the amount of lineal Feet or LF needed to be replaced. **NOTE* (This could be plywood replacement or anything in our products list). This is a VERY IMPORTANT part that needs to be included for Insurance Claims from hail or hurricane damage roofs. Most of the roofing contractors work with storm related damage roof.

8 The ability to easily change pricing from the global product list for each customer during creation of estimate using simple double click buttons, and automatically added to the current selected customer. These Drawing Tools Features Create Rooflines Drawings For Customers When the user is creating the new rooflines this will be part of the proposal & contract or can be saved in several formats ( PDF, JPEG, Word, Execl ect) I would like to have the areas be calculated into a square footage using the scale of 100 square foot divided by the amount of roof decking. (This is a very dynamic way to measure a roof, and would be very powerful).

9 The new canvas will open and ready for content The user will have a selection of tools to create the roofline with AutoCAD like functions when using the drawing tools. Simple click & draw with different style lines, and the ability to add text to the drawings.

10 The Tools Are Square, Circle, Solid Line, Dotted Line, Auto Dimension Line, Text Simple Click Add Text Onto The New Drawing Canvas

11 The Auto Dimension Line Tool Should Help Calculate The Square Footage Easy To Draw Homes For Quick Calculations Of The Roof Decking Using Auto Dimension Tool
