3 WISH 99.7 Street Treat Patrol In 1998, the WISH 99.7FM Street Treat Patrol hit the streets with a major marketing program designed to reach communities and build a hometown grass roots feeling for the consumer. The WISH 99.7FM Street Treat was out and about distributing product samples at over thirty-five area events throughout the summer including little league games, church festivals, block parties, band camps, etc. Throughout the 1999 and 2000 seasons, the Street Treat sampled various products including ice cream, snacks and beverages. Last fall, the Street Treat Patrol brought warmth to our neighborhoods sampling hot cappuccinos and various snacks. Our visits included holiday parades and celebrations, theater performances and festivals. The following sponsorship program will provide excellent coverage and excitement for Max & Erma s throughout the campaign. Objectives

4 To create awareness through sampling opportunities, community involvement and a strategic alliance with education Positioning Max & Erma s with a literary tie-in sponsoring a cause related marketing program Heighten consumer/community visibility Drive store traffic at Max & Erma s locations

5 The Program Max & Erma s will sponsor the WISH 99.7FM Street Treat Patrol in March and April, The program will be set up within the Pittsburgh and surrounding communities. Each week, the WISH 99.7FM Street Treat Patrol will visit an area school, community center, or library. The Street Treat team will sample product provided by Max & Erma s plus give away Scholastic Books compliments of the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council. This is also an opportunity to distribute Max & Erma s coupons in order to drive traffic to your store locations. Promotional announcements on WISH 99.7 will advise listeners to look for the Street Treat Patrol in their community. Posters, signage and mailings will also alert the public to the event. All references will be to the WISH 99.7 Street Treat Patrol, Max & Erma s, Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council and the location. The Max & Erma s logo will be prominent on the van throughout the program. Max & Erma s will become synonymous with support for literacy and education in the Pittsburgh market.

6 Max & Erma s will receive: Inclusion in each and every event that the WISH 99.7FM Street Treat Patrol participates in through signage on the truck.
