2 SAE INDIA YMCAUST COLLEGIATE CLUB ABOUT SAEINDIA SAEINDIA is India's leading resource for mobility technology. As an individual member driven society of mobility practitioners the ownership of SAEINDIA wrests with its members who are Individuals from the mobility community, which includes Engineers Executives from Industry, Government Officials, Academics and Students SAEINDIA is an affiliate society of SAE International registered in India as an Indian nonprofit engineering and scientific society dedicated to the advancement of mobility industry in India. PRINCIPLE The founding principle of the SAE International is to unite scientific and technical staff to perform free academic discussions, to dedicate themselves to the cause of prospering the science and technology for automotive vehicles and to make contributions to speed up the modernization of automotive industry. VISION To Continuously Enrich Knowledge Base of Practitioners in Mobility Industry and Institutions in the Service of Humanity. MISSION To enhance the knowledge base of members who are mobility practitioners within India To provide to its members access to SAE International programs and services globally enabling them to practice world class standard in productivity and quality To develop technical and scientific reports and engineering standards for the benefit of mankind To provide a forum for members to informally exchange views and ideas SAEINDIA is a professional engineering society whose membership represents practically every engineering and scientific discipline. Its members combine their specialized abilities to further advance the research, development, design, manufacture and utilization of vehicles which operate on land, water, air and space.

3 EVENTS WITH SAE BAJA: The objective of the competition is to provide SAE student members with a challenging project that involves design, engineering, planning, manufacturing and marketing the tasks found. When introducing a new product to the consumer industrial market. Teams compete against one another to have their design accepted for manufacture by a fictitious firm. Students must function as a team not only to design, build, test, promote, and run a vehicle within the limits of the rules, but also to generate financial support for their project and manage their educational priorities. Each team s goal is to design and build a prototype of a rugged single seat, off-road recreational four-wheel vehicle intended for sale to the nonprofessional, weekend off-road enthusiast. The competition goals include that the vehicle must be safe, easily transported, easily maintained and fun to drive. It should be able to negotiate rough terrain in all types of weather without damage. SUPRA The SUPRA SAEINDIA is a competition which presents the Under Graduate & Post Graduate Engineering Students the task of designing, modelling and fabricating a formula type racing car. EFFI-CYCLE Conserving our planet transcends race, gender, ethnicity, religion and political orientation. It is the one characteristic we share, we reside on this planet and the need to cooperate to preserve her is not as voluntary as it may seem, it is, as said, our last resort. It is the one hope for future that can unite us. SAEINDIA EffiCycle 11 is one such initiative of its kind. Effi- Cycle encourages students to devise technologies that would lay the foundation for the future TECHNICAL PAPERS Members can get their research published in the leading technical letters, also the society allows them to have an access to the works of various scientists and professors for their referrals.

4 ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE CLUB Team-ABHIYAANTRIKS qualified the virtual BAJA 11 competition.
