Exploring Keyboards III In this unit, children continue their keyboard work learning such pieces as the themes from The Snowman and Jingle Bells. They put these pieces together exploring different keyboard sounds and as part of a class band. Exploring Round Children learn about musical rounds through singing and playing various rounds including Are You Sleeping, Autumn Leaves, and Shalom. In addition children begin learning about accompaniments, namely chords. Journey into Space This unit develops children s ability to extend their sound vocabulary, including the use of ICT, and compose a soundscape. Medieval Music II This unit explores music of the medieval period through performing, composing, listening, and appraising tasks. Exploring Keyboards IV In this unit, children continue their keyboard work learning such pieces as the themes from Theme from EastEnders and Dr Who. For Dr Who, they also learn about synthesisers. They put these pieces together exploring different keyboard sounds and as part of a class band.
