4 Activities (1/8) II Millenium Forum on Energy Questions in April 25, 2006, House of Sciences, Helsinki Helsinki Node arranged II Millennium Forum together with the Finnish Society for Futures Studies and the Finnish Association for the Club of Rome

5 Activities (2/8) II Millenium Forum on Energy Questions in April 25, 2006, House of Sciences goal: to make MP known & to present Energy Delphi new concept for local level: through Millennium Forums work of MP disseminated as well as commented upon

11 Activities (8/8) Meeting with UK Node Chair Paul Crake at RSA, July 17 on environmental issues Participation in MP's Foresight on Women's Issues Women research network in Finland contacted (one working group meeting, Sirkka Heinonen & Leena Maija Laurén) Participation in MP Encyclopedia Project some terms & definitions sent to Mexican Node Funding needed for both

12 Node plans for (1/2) More increased co operation with other EUMPI nodes New funding applications still under preparation, EU s FP 7 More cooperation with nodes in Latin America, Asia and South Africa FFA s ALFA project in Latin America FFRC s cooperation in South Africa supported by Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mapping the possibilities of joint projects with partners in South East Asia Participation in Foresight for Women Issues etc
