2 GPCET S Journey through history G Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology shortly called as GPCET was established in the year 2007 by renowned educationalist Sri G Pullaiah. The college is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Anantapur. It offers B Tech course in Five Branches Electronics and Communication Engineering with an intake of 180, Electrical and Electronics Engineering with an intake of 120, Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of 120, Mechanical Engineering with an intake 60, Civil Engineering with an intake 60 and MBA programme with an intake of 120. GPCET is with a motto of "PIONEERING INNOVATIVE EDUCATION" is a well reputed Engineering College in Rayalaseema region and has shown an excellent record in results as well as in placement just with in a period of four years. All the departments' laboratories are equipped with state of art equipment and all computer labs are established with high configured computers of more than 560 systems. The institution is an another name for discipline clubbed with commitment. We are sure that the student who goes out with the degree from GPCET will be an asset to his family and to the society. Vision To prepare professionally superior and ethically strong global manpower in technology and management to serve the nation and the world in the 21st Century. Mission To strive hard in training the students with the current technology and motivate them to take up research problems and innovations associated with professional, personality development programs to meet the challenges in this competitive world in an efficient manner. Department of CSE The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at GPCET symbolizes the GPCET tradition of excellence as a leader in computer science and engineering education and research.cse is in a period of exciting growth and opportunity. The department is dedicated to education, research and overall excellence. CSE Graduates capture leading appointments in IT service industries, as well as fuel the Internet, wireless communications, and cross-disciplinary IT industries. The CSE program at GPCET started in Recognized by AICTE and affiliated to JNTUA, Anantapur the current intake is 120 students.

5 CSI Activity CLOUAND 26-July-2012, The date sparked on calendar with the event conducted by the department of CSE CLOUAND where the technologies of Cloud computing and Mobile communications softwares are exhibited with practical demonstrations.
