11 Preheat your oven to 190C/375F/Gas Mark 5. Put all your cake ingredients into a bowl and mix until fully combined into a smooth batter. Grease a 9 /20cm cake tin or line it with greaseproof paper, then pour in your batter. It should take about 20 minutes in the oven to turn a lovely golden brown color. The middle should spring back when you press it. While your cake is in the oven you can make the icing. Soften your butter in a large bowl and slowly add the icing sugar until fully combined. Add a couple of drops of red food coloring to turn it Peppa pink. Add as much as you think to get the right shade. Make your cake look just like Peppa with this template! Instuctions: 1. Cut around this template 2. Place the template over your cake. The cake must be at least 9 /20cm for this template 3. Cut around the template and through the cake with a kitchen knife 4. Remove any excess cake, which is not needed When your cake is cooked, let it cool on a wire rack. Cut out Peppa s head from the template provided. When your cake is cool, lay it on the top and with a normal knife gently cut around it. Now it s time to decorate! Using a spatula spread your pink butter icing all over the top of the cake.

13 Birthday Party Activity 1: Peppa s Tail Give each guest a pink sock to put down the back of their trousers or under their top or belt (you may have to use some string tied loosely for girls in dresses without a belt). The aim is for each guest to try to grab another's sock (Peppa' s tail) and also avoid his or her own tail being swiped. Ask them to make an Oink Oink! noise when they have successfully grabbed another guest s tail!
14 Birthday Party Activity 2: Go Go Goldie! Print out one Goldie template per guest. Stand everyone in a line and get them to place Goldie at their feet. Fold newspaper into wads and give to each guest. Each player must crouch down and flap their wads of paper to blow their Goldie from one end of the room to another. The first to the finish line wins a prize.

17 Birthday Party Activity 3: Musical Muddy Puddles Print out some muddy puddles. Lay them out in two rows next to each other (you need one puddle less than the number of players). Turn on the music and let the players walk around the outside of the puddles. Turn the music off without warning and let the players race to stand in a muddy puddle. The player not in a muddy puddle is taken out of the game. Remove a muddy puddle, start the music and let the players walk around the puddles again. Repeat the process until one person remains - they are the Musical Muddy Puddle Champion!
