3 Disclaimers 1. We have made every effort to make these craft kits fun, educational, and safe. However, we realize that the plastic zipper bag could pose a suffocation hazard if it were placed over someone s head. Please make sure you provide constant adult supervision while your child is busy with the craft kits. If you feel that the plastic bag poses too big of a risk, please feel free to use large envelops instead. If you choose to use envelopes, you can still tape the instruction label on the envelope and maybe even draw a simple picture on the front so your child will know which craft kit is in each envelope. 2. The finished craft may not look like the one in the illustration on the craft instructions sheet. 3

4 Thank You! First, we dedicate this book to God for with Him all things are possible. Second, we dedicate this book to our families. Thank you for being our inspiration, for your support, love, encouragement, wonderful ideas and for keeping us laughing! Third and final, we dedicate this book to the many women who helped us test Craft Kits in a Bag. Thank you for your time, energy, encouragement, and invaluable feedback. Thank you for believing in our vision to give kids something to nourish their minds and gain confidence as they learn new skills. Every craft in this book has been tried and tested by people just like you! We would like to thank the many moms who participated in our Craft Kits in a Bag swap. Amy B. Amy C. Grace R. Heather M. 5 NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR Greetings, Thank you for purchasing Craft Kits in a Bag ebook 1 and thank you for taking the time to make the craft kits so your student can experience all the fun materials while letting their imagination stretch. There are so many great reasons to make crafts together. Making premade craft kits makes it easier because you won t have to go searching everywhere for the supplies they are in the bag minus things like glue. Inside this ebook there are 32 sets of instructions on how to put together craft kits. You can put them together on your own, or organize a swap. Organizing a swap is the best way to go if you want to get a lot of craft kits quickly and inexpensively. Most of the supplies needed to make the craft kits can be found in your own home. If not, they can be purchased for little cost or obtained free from donations or from friends and family. We designed the kits to cost $1 or under to make, at the time of this writing. A lot of them cost under a dollar because of having supplies at home. Keep in mind that this ebook does NOT have instructions on how to organize a swap. If you own any of our Preschool or Science Experiment books, then you will already have the instructions. If you don t have instructions on how to organize a swap, you can download the Coordinator Handbook at for FREE. The Coordinator Handbook will give you all the instructions you need to hold a swap. For more information on what a swap is, you can go to: We hope you enjoy the craft kits. May your student happily enjoy cutting, gluing, coloring, twisting, and decorating their way through all 33 Craft Kits in a Bag. And may you enjoy their creations, whether they are on the refrigerator door or hanging on a wall. May your home be filled with all their wonderful creations. Blessings, Sherri Where fun and education fit in the same bag. 5

6 QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS Q. Who can use the craft kits? A. Anyone can use these craft kits. Mom, Dad, Grandparents, and kids from Kindergarten and up can do crafts. Some will require more help than others and some might be harder than others and require teamwork. Q. How do I store all of these wonderful craft kits? A. The craft kits can be stored in file folder boxes, plastic totes with a handle on the lid, filing cabinet, or in a crate. Storing the craft kits keeps them organized and gives you easy access to them for you and your child. All the craft kits are consumable so you won t be storing them for long. Q. Can my student do the crafts on his/her own? A. The craft kits are designed for K 6 th grade. Most students who can read and follow instructions can most likely do the crafts kit on their own. However, you know your student better than we do, so you can help decide. Q. How can I make my craft kits last longer? A. The only way to do that is to replenish the consumable supplies. Or, participate in another swap and make some more craft kits! We have 3 craft ebooks, for a total of 96 craft kits. Q. Will I need any other supplies to do the craft kits? A. Yes, you will need some other supplies to complete most of the crafts. For instance, you may need things like glue, tape, etc. Most, if not all of the items can be found inside your home. Q. What if I have a different number of participants than the numbers on the craft kit instruction sheets? A. No problem! You will just need to do some simple multiplication. Take the number of participants and multiply that number by all the numbers in the column for making just 1 bag. This will give you your correct amounts. Simply write the new numbers in the margin just to the right of the chart. If a supply item has a 1 in every column, obviously, you do not need to multiply this number. For example, you would only need 1 paper cutter or hot glue gun to use for assembling the craft kits. But, you already knew that, didn t you? 6
