1 Brethren, Message From The Master I would like to start the New Year with a huge Thank You for putting your trust in me as Master for There are so many Brothers that helped me achieve this great and important privilege. To RW Jack Jones for getting me back in lodge. To Wor. Ted Holm for all the many hours he gave to prepare me for my journey in the east. To all the brothers who for the past several years saw firsthand the ups and downs of me at lodge practice. To Wor. Joe Rose for a special thanks for all the phone calls you received from me, the surprise visits to your house and the last-minute advice before I had to do something in lodge. I asked and received. Chickahominy Lodge No. 286 A.F. & A. M. Chartered February 16, 1905 Trestleboard January, 2018 To Wor. Greg Johnson, it has been a pleasure to serve as your senior warden. We both have traveled some rough roads together. We accomplished so many hurdles over the past two years that I will have pleasant memories of our time together. Wor. Greg, I want you to know that you did an outstanding job as master. I saw firsthand how you worked with all the brothers for the betterment of the lodge. Your term as master has now been laid up with the records in the archives of this lodge. You are to be commended for a job well done. For 2018, I Thomas Vincent Hardin have selected a strong line of officers to keep our lodge in position, to keep up with the standards set by our past masters. Through their vision this lodge is recognized throughout the commonwealth as a strong active lodge. As master, I ask you for the support I need to make this year one we can be proud of. There are a couple of new programs I would like to try and bring back and some old ones. I am always ever ready to listen to any brother who has ideas or suggestions. One of my goals is to bring non-masons and their families to Chickahominy Lodge, so they can see our brotherhood at work. I encourage all brothers to get involved. Remember the more you put into something, the more you get out. There are plenty of programs you can help with. P.O. Box Richmond Road Toano, VA Stated Communication: 2 nd Tuesday, 7:30 P.M. 2 Message From The Master (Continued) Also, I would like the wives to know how much we appreciate your time that you give to the lodge.
