Rotarian (and proud father) Leonard Suchobrus brought his daughter Heather L. Suchobrus and Penny Lechtenberg from the law firm of Hinshaw & Culbertson who gave a detailed presentation on staying legal in today s world of Human Resources. The duo brought in a variety of fresh faces to today s meeting from H.R. departments around the Rochelle area. They reviewed the proper procedures for completing the I-9, E-verify and Raids and Enforcement Actions by the government agencies. Rotary s 4-Way Test 1. Is it the TRUTH? 2. Is it FAIR to all concerned? 3. Will it build GOODWILL & BETTER FRIENDSHIPS? 4. Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned? 4 Fellow Rotarians, At the Rochelle Rotary meeting today the attached sheet was passed around the club. Members were asked to pick 3 or 4 projects from the list that they would be willing to help with, ranking them in desired order. This list will hopefully accomplish two things. It will hopefully alleviate the need for passing around sign-up sheets in the future, and it will help the club to plan each project in the future to ensure its successfulness if the committees are in place in advance. If you were not present at today s meeting would you please look at the sheet and your top 3 or 4 project picks to Ross at tourism@rochelle.net. I would like to have your picks returned to me by Monday, August 10 th so that I can compile the list before the Rotary meeting next Tuesday. Thanks!
