5 AUTO POWER OFF (SLEEP FUNTION) Unit will turn itself ff after 20 minutes (Sleep mde) T verride Aut Pwer Off functin (Nn-Sleep Mde) press ON/OFF and MIN/MAX buttn simultaneusly. After the full display appears release ON/OFF buttn first,the display will shw " n " in left side. When " n " appears (See Fig.A) then release MIN/ MAX buttn. Unit will nw be in Nn- Sleep Mde. Fig. A MODE OPTIONS (1) Remve prtective sensr cver. (2) Turn meter n by pressing ON/OFF buttn.(see Fig.B) (3) Press /F key t cnvert reading t desired range. 6 DATA HOLE FUNTION Press "HOLD" buttn until (HLD) appears in display. The current reading is nw being held and will nt change until Hld functin is cancelled. (See Fig.D) Press "RST" buttn t cancel Hld functin. Hld functin can be used fr temperature, Humidity, Dew-pint & Wet bulb. See Fig.E Fig. E td WET BULB FUNTION Press and hld (td/wbt) buttn until WB appears n left side f display. Unit will nw display Wet Bulb temperature. Intermittent flashing f WB ( See Fig.F) indicates that current reading is being calculated and updated due t cnstant changes in humidity & temperature in envirnment. Fig. F WB 4

7 MIN./MAX. FUNTION (1) Press and hld MN/MX buttn until (MIN) appears n display.(see Fig.G) Display is nw shwing minimum humidity and temperature reading in memry. (2) Press and hld MN/MX buttn again until (MAX) appears n display. (See Fig.H) Display is nw shwing maximum humidity and temperature readings in memry. (3) T return t current temperature and humidity readings press and hld MN/MX buttn until Min r Max disappear frm display. (4) T clear current MIN and MAX reading frm memry press and hld. Reset buttn until entire display flashes. Fig. G MIN Fig. H MAX LOW-BATTERY The entire display flashing is the signal t replace batteries at nce. Failure t replace batteries will have an effect n the accuracy f the readings received frm the hygrmeter. Nte: Remember Lw Batteries will tend t give inaccurate readings, s make sure yu have gd batteries. 5

T maintain the meter in the gd cnditin fr use, recmmend t calibrate the meter after lng time using. leaning: Use a damp clth and mild sap t clean the case f the meter, d nt use harsh detergents r abrasives as these may mar the finish r damage the unit's case with an adverse chemical reactin. ALIBRATION MODE The calibratin perfrmace is nly available fr the calibratin cde was nt delected befre shipment. And there are 2 calibratin methd : ne is Manual calibratin, anther ne is Autmatic calibratin. Manual alibratin : Turn ff the meter, then plug the meter prbe int the 33 salt bttle and then pwer n the meter by pressing " ON /OFF buttn and the /F buttn at the same time. When LD screen shws a full display, release the ON/OFF key. Yu will see the display f and F at the lwer right crner f LD screen, then release the /F buttn. The LD will display nly the default setting f temperature unit r F. Press "RST" key and yu will see a " MIN" display n the right upper crner. 6

9 See Fig.H,please leave the meter in the bttle fr at least 40 minutes and the meter will start the calibratin prcess. When the calibratin fr 33 is dne,yu will see a MIN and MAX display n the LD screen. Press /F buttn t save the calibratin f 33. The LD shws "s" in 2 secnds (See Fig.K) and then resume nrmal measurement. Turn ff the meter, the calibratin f 33 is cmpleted. Fig. H MIN If yu want t calibratin 75, please remve the meter prbe frm the 33 salt bttle and plug it int the 75 salt bttle. Then press the "MN/MX" buttn, yu will see a MAX display n the LD.(See Fig.I)Then leave the meter in the 75 bttle fr anther 40 minutes. When the 75 calibratin is cmpleted, the screen shws MIN and MAX,(See Fig.J) press /F buttn t save the calibratin value f 75. The LD will shw "s" (See Fig.K) fr 2 secnds and then resume t the nrmal measuring mde. Yu can remve the meter frm the 75 bttle nw. Fig. I Fig. K MIN MAX Fig. J 7 MAX

10 Autmatic alibratin : Turn ff the meter, then plug the meter prbe int the 33 salt bttle and then pwer n the meter by pressing " ON /OFF buttn and the /F buttn at the same time. Remve the meter prbe frm the 33 salt bttle and plug it int the 75 salt bttle. Then press "MN/MX" buttn, yu will see a " MAX" display n the LD. (See Fig.I)Then leave the meter in the 75 bttle fr next 40 minutes. When the 75 calibratin is cmpleted, the screen shws MIN and MAX,(See Fig.J),it means the 75 calibratin is cmpleted, and the meter resume t the nrmal measuring mde. Yu can remve the meter frm the 75 bttle nw. 8

Make sure battery is nt empty, if the display disappear, check sleep mde is active. Refer t the Disable sleep mde functin fr a lng time using the measurement.? Screen flashing. Battery lw, the batteries need t be replaced.? Er 1, Er 3,E r 4. ircuit errr, return the unit t the stre fr repairing. See Fig.L as an example.? Er 2. Imprper calibratin; Prbe managed.? Er 5.
