We meet pretty much every other Sunday afternoon (unless the classroom is booked with another teacher) and review the twists, turns and fun of the current lesson. Class is from 1 to 3 pm.

With each chapter more of the mystery (how are we going to stitch this canvas) is revealed? We meet pretty much every other Sunday afternoon (unless the classroom is booked with another teacher) and review the twists, turns and fun of the current lesson. Class is from 1 to 3 pm. Right up my alley. Their faces have lots of character and their feathers, oh my, super fun pattern! They are stitched in two of my favorite threads - Color Dreams floche and Petite Silk Lamé Braid. We have more feathers to stitch and the background. Gee, wonder what that will be? First, it has a cat on it, so of course I love it. Plus it s funky and Mid-Century Modern, so again, I love it. It s perfect for fun stitches and threads. I think its going to be a quick stitch. I love it when a plan comes together. This will be our first Mystery of the new year. I hope you will join us. The canvas is handpainted on 18ct mono and measures 9 x 13. The cost of the class is the price of the canvas ($156) plus the stitchguide for each lesson ($20 each) and the necessary threads etc. Classes will be Sundays 1-3, February 11 and 25th, at the Beehive if you would like to join us in person! You can sign up on line by going to Classes and then Mystery Classes or simply give us a call at join us For a mystery with a TwIsT what s The TwIsT?... Looking for something with a slower pace? These work just like the regular Mystery Classes except you don t really know when the next lesson is coming. I fit these in between the regular mysteries. The lessons are about 6 months apart. You have time to stitch the lesson, but still work on your other projects. There are no in-person lessons. Everyone is an out-patient for this class. With each lesson you receive the next part of the stitch guide ($20 fee) plus the necessary threads, beads etc. All the other fun details of our mystery classes will remain the same. We will post close up pictures to the blog so the only real change is the time frame. Spoiler Alert: Why Fit In will be finished very soon! Which means we will be announcing a brand new mystery very soon.

Row of Ladies II - Lessons one through five have shipped but it s not too late to join us. The cost for the class is the cost of the canvas $118 plus $15 per lesson and the price of the threads, beads, crystals etc for that lesson. Scotch You can change the Stitch number of stitches that make the square. You can stitch all of the stitches at the same angle or you can reverse each Scotch Stitch to create more energy. Change the colors to make patterns. The possibilities are endless. Alternating Scotch Stitch In the Scotch Chevron Variation, one stitch in each unit can be changed to a different color or texture creating an entirely new look. Magic!!! why this works The feathers at the bottom of the blue owl were a challenge. They were painted with lots of wonderful color changes that I wanted to keep. We could stitch them in basketweave. We could stitch them in Leaf Stitch or... we could employ a fabulous overdye for the first part of the stitch and a contrasting color for the second part of the stitch creating movement and the illusion of feathers. Again, magic!!
