5 section 6 Constructing HST units 1. Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of 1 (3 7/8 x 3 7/8 ) (A) square. Place square, right sides together, on 1 (3 7/8 x 3 7/8 ) (J) square. Sew 1/4 away from, on right and left sides of drawn line. Cut along drawn line. Open and press to yield 2 HST units. 2.
