2 This raglan jumper is knitted seamlessly in the round from the bottom up. Sleeves and body are worked separately to the underarms, then joined to knit the yoke. Short rows are worked to shape the neckline before finishing with a rolled neckband. All cable motifs are charted, and are worked over a six-row repeat. Join to knit in the round and PUM to indicate beginning of round Work 16 rounds in 1x1 rib (k1, p1) Change to 4mm needles and increase as follows: Front Set Up: k 20 (19, 25, 24, 15, 21), m1l, [k19 (18, 24, 22, 24, 20), m1l] 3 (4, 3, 4, 5, 6) times, k 20 (19, 26, 24, 14, 21), PM to indicate end of front section Back Set Up: k 20 (19, 25, 24, 15, 21), m1l, [k19 (18, 24, 22, 24, 20), m1l] 3 (4, 3, 4, 5, 6) times, k 20 (19, 26, 24, 14, 21) 8 (10, 8, 10, 12, 14) sts increased, 202 (230, 254, 282, 310, 338) sts total 2. CABLE PATTERN Note: Charts A and C represent the side panels of the jumper and are mirror images of each other but different for each size. Charts B1, B2 and B3 form the central cable panel and are alike for all sizes. You may find it helpful to place stitch markers in your work between each of the charts Cable Pattern is now worked over six rounds from Charts A, B1, B2 and B3 and C, twice per round: once for the front, once for the back as per the following example: Round 1: Work round 1 of Chart A, Charts B1, B2 and B3, Chart C, SM, Chart A again, Charts B1, B2 and B3 again, Chart C again Work rounds 1-6 a total of 13 (13, 14, 14, 15, 15) times, 78 (78, 84, 84, 90, 90) rounds, or until body reaches desired length Note: make sure to finish after working a full 6 round repeat of charts Transfer work to stitch holders or waste yarn and set aside SLEEVES (make two alike) 1.
