Isiminger P.E. Senior Director of Engineering and Environmental Affairs Port of Manatee Mr. Isiminger is responsible for design and oversight of all construction projects at Port Manatee. He also handles securing environmental permits and ensures compliance with local, state and federal environmental requirements. Prior to coming to the port, he worked for Gee & Jenson, Engineers-Architects-Planners, Inc. where he was vice president in charge of coastal engineering and waterfront environmental services. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He also serves on the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council s Agency on Bay Management, the Bay Soundings Editorial AdvisoryBoard and various community groups. 3 Congratulations Suncoast Public Works Academy The Suncoast Public Works Academy is now a Florida Approved Provider of continuing education units (PDH) for Professional Engineers. The Florida Board of Professional Engineers approved the Academy s provider status at their December meeting. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree from an accredited university in Engineering or a related field preferred. Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the supervision and management of a municipal stormwater and wastewater utility. Ensures system operations activities are compliant with local, state and federal regulations. Functions as Utilities representative in structuring utility/developer agreements. Respond to inquiries from public, resolves problems, and represents utilities issues on technical advisory committees as required. Administers and produces designs, cost estimates and time schedules, budgets, reports, technical and specifications for a variety of municipal utility projects including future utility extension projects.
