3 Guest Helder Antunes Senior Director, Corporate Strategic Innovation Group at Cisco; Chair, OpenFog Consortium Yang Yang IEEE Fellow, Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT) & ShanghaiTech University Biography Helder Antunes is Senior Director, Corporate Strategic Innovation Group at Cisco. He is a results-driven technologist and Cisco veteran with more than 28 years of experience in leading product and solution development. In his current position, Mr. Antunes leads a team to identify major technology market disruptions and align them with Cisco s key market initiatives and business unit strategies. Previously, as managing director of Cisco s Internet of Things group, he focused on Smart Connected Vehicles, one of the fastest growing market opportunities for the IT sector. Mr. Antunes also works with the Portuguese government on innovation programs including the AICEP internship INOV Contacto Program and is a guest lecturer at several Portuguese universities. He also serves as an adviser to the Regional Government of the Azores, Portugal. Mr. Antunes has received many awards for his work at Cisco and with the Portuguese government including the COTEC Portuguese Diaspora Entrepreneurial Innovation Award (multiple years). Dr. Yang Yang is currently a professor with Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology (SIMIT), Chinese Academy of Sciences, serving as the Director of CAS Key Laboratory of Wireless Sensor Network and Communication, and the Director of Shanghai Research Center for Wireless Communications (WiCO). He is also a Distinguished Adjunct Professor with the School of Information Science and Technology, ShanghaiTech University. Prior to that, he has held faculty positions at University College London (UCL), Brunel University, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Yang is a member of the Chief Technical Committee of the National Science and Technology Major Project New Generation Mobile Wireless Broadband Communication Networks ( ), which is funded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) of China. In addition, he is on the Chief Technical Committee for the National 863 Hi-Tech R&D Program 5G System R&D Major Projects, which is funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) of China. Since January 2017, he has been serving the OpenFog Consortium as the Director for Greater China Region. Yang s current research interests include wireless sensor networks, Internet of Things, Fog computing, Open 5G, and advanced wireless testbeds. He has published more than 150 papers and filed over 80 technical patents in wireless communications.

4 Angelo Corsaro Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ADLINK Technology Inc Angelo Corsaro, Ph.D. is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at ADLINK Technology Inc. As CTO he leads the Advanced Technology Office (ATO) and looks after corporate technology strategy and innovation. Angelo is a well-known and cited expert in the area of high performance and large scale distributed systems, IoT, Edge/Fog Computing. He is a well published author with well over 100 of publications on referred journal, conferences, workshops, and magazines. Angelo is the founder and cochair of the DDS Special Interest Group, a member of the OMG Board of Directors and a member of the ECC Technical Advisory Board. Katalin K. Bartfai-Walcott Principal Engineer, Fog Computing Architecture, Intel Corporation; OpenFog Consortium, Manageability and Orchestration Work Group Chair Yang Liu the II-IDS Research Project Lead of the technology and standards research institute, CAICT Katalin leads the Fog Computing software architecture team at Intel s Internet of things (IoT) group. Her focus is on integrating service delivery, management and control between edge, fog and cloud computing in support of sensor data analytics and insights as well as device health management and transaction level orchestration. She also serves as the Patent Advocate for Intel, focusing on IoT and Fog computing related inventions. Prior to Intel, Katalin worked with IBM for 22 years, as a Principal for IBM Global Services, where she led the development of IBM s Linux strategy. She has over 28 years of industry experience, with datacenter architecture, multi-platform systems, including Power/RISC and Linux on Power, as well as cloud computing and executive level consulting. She published over 30 technical papers and several IBM Redbooks. She has spoken at numerous seminars and conferences since 1995, holds 50 patents, and has received IBM s Chairman s Award for her work on building the Linux Services and Support strategy. Dr. Yang Liu has been working for the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) since his Ph.D. graduation from University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS). Currently he is the II-IDS Research Project Lead of the technology and standards research institute at CAICT, responsible for identification resolution service and edge computing related standard activities, innovation research, architecture design as well as product planning and prototyping. Dr. Yang Liu is chair of the ID WG both in the China Alliance of Industrial Internet (AII) and the China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), participated in China's Industrial Internet architecture design, policy development and industry planning. He is also the convener of edge computing among AII, ECC and CCSA, leading the standard

5 projects about the Edge computing requirements, architecture, common node model. Norikatsu Takaura, Senior Researcher, Center for Technology Innovation Electronics, Hitachi, Ltd Norikatsu Takaura received Ph.D. degree from Stanford university in years experiences at Hitachi R&D, including 8 years managing activities of Japan national projects. IoT R&D getting involved in from OpenFog Consortium member. IEEE International Roadmap for Devices and Systems member. Hank Ching-Yao Huang Professor, National Chiao Tung University Before joining National Chiao Tung University in 2002, Dr. Huang was with Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies where he was a project leader of 3.5G cellular system development. Dr. Huang was the recipient of Bell Labs Team Award in 2003, Best Paper Award from IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference in 2004, and Outstanding Achievement Award from National Chiao Tung University in the years of Dr. Huang is also actively served as review committee members in various Taiwan government organizations, like NSC, MOE, and MOEA for his expertise in commercialization of university researches. Starting from 2003, Dr. Huang becomes the director of Technology Licensing Office. The office was rewarded as the best technology licensing office in consecutive five years. Besides, in National Chiao Tung University has been ranked as number one in Intellectual Property Production and Achievement from MOE s Higher Education Evaluation and Accreditation Council and Best Innovation Award from

6 Thomson Reuters in Since 2007, after being the director of the incubation center, the center was rewarded as the best incubation center in and Best International Incubation center in 2012 all from Minister of Economic Affair and was ranked top 10th global incubator in UBI Index The center is global recognized and certified by NBIA Soft Landings, EBN BIC, and AABI. With all achievements, the team has been rewarded as Best Industry Contribution also from the Minister of Economic Affairs, Taiwan. Dr. Huang is the editor of both ACM Wireless Networks and Recent Patents on Electrical Engineering. As now, Dr. Huang has been published more than 80 papers and has 30 US patents. Ming Yi Senior Policy Manager, Intel Jianwei Huang IEEE Fellow, Professor & Director of the Network Communications and Economics Lab, The Chinese University of Hong Kong Dr. Ming Yi is Senior Policy Manager at Intel Corporation. In his Intel capacity, he works with Chinese government agencies and research institutes on Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, energy efficiency of information products, and other areas of standards and policies. Dr. Ming Yi is an important drafter and participant in a number of national standards and holds important positions in various related affiliate groups. Dr. Ming Yi obtained his bachelor's and master's degrees from Tsinghua University, his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Boulder, and worked as a research assistant professor at Virginia Polytechnic Institute in the United States. Jianwei Huang is a Professor and Director of the Network Communications and Economics Lab (ncel.ie.cuhk.edu.hk), in the Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He received the Ph.D. degree from Northwestern University in 2005, and worked as a Postdoc Research Associate at Princeton University during He is an IEEE Fellow, a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communications Society, and a Clarivate Analytics Highly Cited Researcher in Computer Science. He is the co-author of 9 Best Paper Awards, including IEEE Marconi Prize Paper Award in Wireless Communications in He has co-authored six books, including the textbook on "Wireless Network Pricing." He received the CUHK Young Researcher Award in 2014 and IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher Award in He has served as an Associate Editor of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Networking, IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, IEEE Journal on Selected Areas in Communications - Cognitive Radio Series, and IEEE Transactions on

7 Cognitive Communications and Networking. He has served as an Editor of Wiley Information and Communication Technology Series, Springer Encyclopedia of Wireless Networks, and Springer Handbook of Cognitive Radio. He has served as the Chair of IEEE ComSoc Cognitive Network Technical Committee and Multimedia Communications Technical Committee. He is the recipient of IEEE ComSoc Multimedia Communications Technical Committee Distinguished Service Award in 2015 and IEEE GLOBECOM Outstanding Service Award in John K. Zao Professor, National Chiao Tung University, Chair, IEEE Communication Society Standard Working Group on Fog Computing and Networking Architecture Framework Dr. John K. Zao ( 邵家健 ) is the founding chairman of the new IEEE Standard Working Group on Fog Computing and Networking Architecture Framework and the founding vice-chairman of the new IEEE Standard Committee on Edge/Fog/Cloud Communications with IoT and Big Data. He is also the co-chairman of the Security Working Group of OpenFog Consortium and its Greater China Regional Committee. In his regular job, Dr. Zao is the Chief Technology Officer of NGoggle Inc. in San Diego, USA and CerebraTek Co. Ltd. in the Taiwan Hsinchu Science Park. He is also an Associate Professor of Computer Science in the Taiwan Hsinchu Chiao-Tung University. Dr. Zao is an expert in Internet Security and Pervasive Computing. He received his PhD in Computer Science at Harvard University in 1995 and was elected a Senior Member of IEEE in Jun Liu Global Distinguished Engineer, Cisco China Jun Liu has been working for Cisco China since 1998, and now is a Cisco Global Distinguished Engineer. He has more than 20 years experience in field of IP network and the Internet of things. He is an expert of fog computing, data centers, and network chip. He is the Cisco convener of China Communications Standards Association (CCSA), and participated development of a number of Chinese industry standards - Communications Standardization Association standard, and hosted edition of books "policy-driven data center", "software-defined network" and some others. He has two US patents, five CCIE certificates and JNICE certificates.
