2 ucket Worx Perormance Notes Set-U - Set your buckets uside down in a straight line on a wooden or non-careted loor, acing the audience, at a distance that is comortable or each layer to lay on their neighbor s bucket (right & let) There are sections that require striking the loor with sticks and buckets, so great care should be taken not to damage the loor I necessary, lace lywood down or the erormance You ll need one extra bucket laced on the ar let & right to be used by the end layers Perorm the ensembles using sticks Notes - During any sections where layers are striking each others buckets, take care not to bust any knuckles These ensembles should be erormed with a minimum o our layers s there are only two arts throughout the ensembles, kee the total number o layers at an even amount (,6,8, etc) s you add two layers, you ll obviously need to add to your bucket inventory by two View the short video tutorial o ucket Worx on the ucket Worx age at wwwrowlocom ENJOY! to o bucket let side o bucket o bucket o bucket ucket Worx Key s on hit/slide bucket on loor to o let layer's bucket to o right layer's bucket oot stom lay on loor

3 Plastik Surgery / 1:38 Plastik Surgery is a un Grade I ensemble that uses all laying areas o the bucket (center,, sides) and s lthought it s an easy all 1/8th note ensemble, there are some simle syncoations between the arts that kee it interesting Shoot or the aster temo marking (6), but rehearse it slowly and don t go too ast until your layers are consistent and rhythmically accurate at a slower temo Pails In Comarison / 1:19 7 Pails In Comarison is a Grade II, 12/8 ensemble that introduces beginning rhythmic igures or that time signature In this ensemble the layers should be set u as alternating arts, 1, 2, 1, 2, etc Work or a smooth balance, both audio & visual, between the two arts, esecially in the call and answer sections In bar 30, the layers should lit/sna their sticks to ace level, stick beads ointed straight uward, or maximum visual eect ucket Stom / 1:39 10 ucket Stom is a Grade II ensemble that incororates slamming and scraing the bucket on the loor (See the video tutorial or more ino) The bucket 1 layers should enter rom one side o the stage laying, and then the bucket 2 layers enter on the oosite side You may reeat the irst two bars as many times as needed beore the layers get set in a kneeling osition to begin their bucket stoms in bar 3 In this ensemble the bucket 1 s are on one side and bucket 2 s on the other uckethead / 2:03 uckethead is a un Grade II ensemble that begins with a Harley-esque rumble etter C oens the iece u with an ostinato attern rom the entire ensemble as a bed or ab lib solos rom every layer ter the solos, it incororates laying on adacent buckets or a visual lair There are also oot stoms throughout the ensemble that should be erormed with a lot o energy s well, have the erormers wear shoes (hard soles, not sneakers) that create a good, solid sound when they stom
