1 How to join your Online Tutoring Appointment Step 1: Go to Log in using your username and password.

2 Step 2: Click on your orange appointment box. A new box will appear with START OR JOIN ONLINE CONSULTATION. NOTE: If it is past your allotted appointment time you CANNOT join the tutoring session. You must be ON TIME.

3 ENTERING THE TUTORING SESSION You have now joined your online chat with the tutor. The information for the tools are provided to you as soon as you entered the chat.

4 AUDIO AND VIDEO To ensure you will be able to see and talk to the tutor, use a webcam with a microphone or a laptop that has both a webcam and microphone. To access your video, click on the video icon to the right and the video will appear on the box to the left.

5 WHITEBOARD IMPORT To import work you would like your tutor to see, click on the double arrows facing away from each other. Browse for the file you are looking for and import it. Note: When importing a file, click ok and the welcome page will disappear and become the whiteboard for you and your tutor.

6 Your imported file may not appear exactly as it was saved, but it will show up similar to the saved file. From here you should be able to type in your answers underneath the questions. If you would like to ask your tutor questions, ask them on the real time chat to the right side. You can type in your text after you have imported your file. Ask your tutor questions in the real time chat. NOTE: They see what you re typing as you re typing it.

7 EXPORTING: To export the document (to save comments on the document at the end of the session), click on the icon with two arrows, and then choose one of the options below Export current pad as.

8 DRAWING TOOLS To access the whiteboard to draw, click on the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen. A small white box with appear. To make that box expand click on the empty box icon. :

9 Once you have your white board open click on the pencil or paintbrush to draw. NOTE: Your tutor can see what you are drawing as you draw it. To erase it click on the box with the x, then press ok.

10 TOOL BAR If you wish to not have your work highlighted throughout the session, click on the eye with the slash on it. This will take away the highlight on your work. When the eye has a box around it, your work will not be highlighted.

11 You can enter in your math equation the correct way by clicking on the pie button located at the top. Once you click on it, a Mathjax preview will pop up. Find the equation you are looking for and enter it in. When you press insert, it will appear on the whiteboard for your tutor to see.

12 THROUGHOUT THE SESSION During your session, you are able to save your spot as well as go back and look at the work that you have done. SAVING To save your spot click on the star in the right corner. It will notify you on the bottom right that your spot is now marked as a saved revision.

13 REWINDING YOUR SESSION To rewind your session to look back at your previously entered material, click on the clock located next to the HELP question mark.

14 Once you have clicked on the clock, it will take you to your entire recorded session. You can use the back arrow to go back to any part of your session. The stars are recorded for the places you wanted to save. When you are finished reviewing your material click on the RETURN TO PAD button which will take you back to the whiteboard.

15 AFTER THE SESSION Once your session is complete you may exit by clicking the X in the top right of the screen. NOTE: If there is any material you would like to save, you can PrintScreen the material and save it on your computer.
