If you do not have Papercut installed on your ipad (refer to the icon below), open Safari on your ipad and tap on the address bar at the top of the screen. 2. Type in the following URL, 3. You will be asked to install a printing profile. Select Install and immediately following, tap on Install Now from the pop-up box. 2 I CAN T SEE ANY PRINTERS WHEN TRYING TO PRINT Printers are only available to staff and students who are signed into NTHS_Emp or NTHS_Stu, respectively. Before you can see any printers, you have to make sure that you are signed into one of these two networks depending on your status. 1. From the Home Screen, select Settings. 2. Inside the app, select Wi-Fi from the top-left hand corner. 3. Wait for the networks to populate, and then select your respective network. If you are asked to enter your credentials: If you are a student enter your eight digit Student ID number and password. 3 4. If prompted to authenticate a certificate, select Accept. If you receive an error message, make sure you type in your NT network username and password correctly, and try again. If you continue to have problems, you might need to reset your password: If you are staff, you can reach out to the helpdesk at extension If you are a student, you can find assistance in a staffed computer lab - Room 377 at Winnetka or Room C331 at Northfield. THE PAPERCUT APP WANTS ME TO SIGN IN When you try to access the Papercut app, you will need to enter a network username and password. You also have to make sure you are connected to NTHS_Emp (staff) or NTHS_Stu (students). If you are a student, your network username is your eight digit Student ID number and password. If you are a staff member, enter your New Trier username and password. After you enter your credentials, make sure Remember Me is selected and click Login. 4 If you cannot reach your balance page, make sure: You are connected to the Student Wi-Fi - NTHS_Stu. You have entered your NT network username and password correctly. If you continue to have problems, you might need to reset your NT password: If you are staff, you can reach out to the helpdesk at extension If you are a student, you can find assistance at a staffed computer lab - Room 377 at Winnetka or Room C331 at Northfield. CAN I PRINT DOUBLE SIDED? No, unfortunately Papercut does not currently support double-sided printing. If you have to print a double-sided document, please use a computer. HOW DO I PRINT FROM PAGES? 1. In Pages, click on the wrench icon located on the top-left hand corner. 2. From the drop-down menu, select Print. 3. 5 As always, when you send a job to the printer, you will need to first launch the PRINTING app (Papercut), found on your home screen. Once you log in, the app will release your print job and send your document to the printer. HOW DO I PRINT FROM GOOGLE DOCS? 1. In Google Docs, open the document you would like to print and select the three dots located on the top-right hand side of your screen. 2. In the menu pane, select Share & export. 3. 6 As always, when you send a job to the printer, you will need to launch the PRINTING app (Papercut), found on your home screen. Once you log in, the app will release your print job and send your document to the printer. HOW DO I PRINT FROM PDF EXPERT 5? 1. In PDF Expert 5, open the document you would like to print and select More Actions button, located on the top-right hand side of the screen. 2. Select Print from the drop-down menu. 3. Choose the printer you wish to send your document and select Print from the options provided. As always, when you send a job to the printer, you will need launch the PRINTING app (Papercut), found on your home screen.
