1 Skin Care Presentation Notes 1. Complete Checklist Upon Arrival Satin Hands completed, trays squirted, etc Match foundations & pick lip gloss color 2. Introduce yourself & Mary Kay! Thank Hostess Have Guests introduce themselves & how they know the Hostess Ask Guests what they do during the day 3. Order of Events Would you believe you get two complimentary appointments with me? This first is today, we ll try Mary Kay s famous skin care, the Ultimate Miracle Set, and learn to take great care of your skin, do just a few quick supplements, and just finish with a little color to get you home! Then at the end, we ll get together oneonone to discuss your individual needs. We will also book a time for your second appointment. Your second appointment will be more personalized for you, where we ll fine tune your skin care, try any supplements you might like, and find out what colors look best on you, eye shadows, eyeliners, what foundation suits your lifestyle, what type of mascara you love, etc. Optional To help me remember to remind you about your second appointment, we re going to play beauty hot potato! Pass around this goodie bag every time I say second appointment. Whoever has it at the end gets to take it home! Turn to Page 3&4: This page tells you what happens to your skin each decade! Maybe you want to keep flipping! 7. Page 11 Foundation Now apply your foundation all over your face Take two fingers and dot your forehead, cheeks, nose, & chin. Then blend Don t forget, if you find we need to tweak your foundation color, we can address that at your second appointment. Also, for better application, we always recommend a liquid foundation brush. Pass one around so everyone can feel. Finish up your flawless look with Mary Kay Concealer. Take a teensy dab and do some dots under your eyes, any blemishes, etc. Now, how does your face feel? Don t you love how soft and smooth it is? Can you tell a difference from the side with skin care & not? You ve only used these Mary Kay products once, just think how your skin will look and feel when you use the Miracle Set every day! 16. Page 13 Microdermabrasion PLUS Typically this is a treatment for your face, but today we ll just do it on the back of one hand. At your second appointment, you ll have a chance to do a full face treatment. Go through most reasons, sharing some personal tieins So finally, we re just always curious read the last section out loud And then just put your name at the bottom! And then, off to the side, I d love for you to jot down a YES, OK, or NO and here s what each one means! A yes means, I m interested surprisingly so but I m a little interested in this whole Mary Kay thing it doesn t mean I m definitely going to do it but, I d like to learn more about how a Mary Kay business works, and how it could possibly change my life An OK means, Well, I m not really interested, but I don t mind helping you out and giving my feedback/opinion on a Mary Kay business. I m in a contest this month to get X number of feedbacks on a new YouTube video we have out, and even if you re not interested at all in a Mary Kay business, it helps me develop my skills as a beauty consultant to get any and all types of feedback! I realize your calendar isn t here, but let s get a starting point. If you find there s a conflict, it s not a problem to change it. What s better for you, during the week or weekend? 5) And, I see you wrote down a bunch of referrals. Is there any reason why you wouldn t want to invite these people to join you at your second appointment? I think we d have a lot of fun, plus, I d be able to send you on up to a 50% off shopping spree that night!
