10 #2: Economic Growth US Growth Slower Than Expected GDP growth in Q3 was slower than expected at 1.5%. Don t read too much into this, however, as inventory depletion accounted for much of the slowdown Going forward economists have lowered their outlook for economic growth, currently pegging it at 2.8% compared to about 3% a couple of months ago Weak growth in other markets and a strong US dollar is expected to impact exports & imports. While FED may raise rates by end of the year, the odds are not very strong and the rate hike could come in early 2016 % Ch * Forecast: Moody s ANNUAL GROWTH RATE OF GDP Annualized Quarterly Growth Rate Forecast 2000 '01 '02 '03 ' '06 '07 '08 ' '11 '12 '13 '14 '15-9-
