1 YOU WILL NEED: Pegboards: 4 large squares Other: Two 12" green chenille stems 12" clear nylon thread Clear tape Bead Colors: Pearl Coral Pearl Light Blue - 20 Pearl Green - 13 Pearl Yellow - 54 Pink Cheddar Butterscotch Green Dark Green Turquoise Blueberry Cream Dark Blue - 47 Pastel Lavender - 26 Plum - 69 Rust White NOTE: You will need TWO 1000-bead packs of green and white beads, and one pack of all the other colors. Fence Instructions 1. Connect the 4 pegboards. Cut out the pattern sections on the following pages for the fence, grass, and bunny, and tape together as indicated here. 2. If you are using clear pegboards, slide your pattern under the pegboards and place your beads. 3. Ask an adult to fuse your designs see page 2 for further instructions. 4. Assembly: see page 12. 2 Fence #1 Bead Colors: Blueberry Cream Dark Blue White Fusing Instructions Only Adults Iron 1. Place your pegboard on a flat, heat-safe surface. 2. Set a household iron to the medium setting. Place ironing paper over the pegboard. In a circular motion, begin to iron the project. Do not press down with the iron. As the beads begin to fuse, you will see circles of the beads start to show through the paper. When ironed properly, the beads will still have an open center. Let the design cool. 3. Remove the paper and bead design from the peg board. Flip the design over to expose the non-fused side. Repeat step two. Let cool completely. NOTE: Beads need heat for about seconds per side to fuse evenly. Lift the paper occasionally to see how the beads are fusing. Depending on the size of the project, additional heating time may be required. DO NOT OVER-IRON the beads as it will make the centers of the beads close and can make any assembly you do with your project more challenging. 2

12 ASSEMBLY Basket: Match up the slot on the small grass piece with the slot in the bottom of the basket and slide the pieces together. Bunny: Match up the slots in the feet with the slots at the ends of the legs and slide the pieces together. 12

13 Fence, Grass, & Flowers: 1. Match up the slots in the tops of the bushes with the slots in the bottom of the main fence posts. Slide together until you have one row of fence post extending below the bushes. 2. Slide the fence posts into the slots in the grass. 3. Insert the flower stems into the holes in the grass

14 Decorate the Fence: 1. Working through the bead holes, thread half of the leaves and flower blossoms onto one of the chenille stems and half onto the other. Connect the two pieces by twisting the ends together to create one long piece of garland. 2. Wrap the garland around the archway of the fence. 3. Match up the slot on the butterfly with the slot in the top of the archway and slide together. 4. Slide the feet of the sitting bird into the slot at the end of the fence. 5. With clear nylon thread, tie the flying bird to the center of the archway as shown. 6. Position the bunny and his basket.
