1 page 1 Instructions 1. Use the large square, and large and small hexagon pegboards for your project. If you re using a clear pegboard, slide the actual-size pattern underneath it. Place all the beads for the design. 2. Cover the completed design with the ironing paper. Keeping the iron level, gently iron the beads in a circular motion for about 10 seconds to fuse the beads evenly. Ironed properly, the beads will still have an open center. On a 3-D project such as this, DO NOT OVER-IRON your beads as this can make assembly difficult. 3. Once the design is cool, peel off the ironing paper. Lift your design from the pegboard; flip the design over and repeat step #2. Your pegboards and ironing paper are reusable. You will also need tan, yellow, dark blue, and green chenille stems, plus a piece of florist's oasis foam and a flower pot to complete your project. Tiger Lily Orange Brown - 30 You will need 15 additional brown beads for assembly. Create the curved petals as shown in the picture as follows: after you have ironed the beads on both sides and while the beads are still warm, gently bend the petals over a bottle or other rounded shape. 5 White Lily: Part 3 While the beads are still warm after ironing, bend the petals slightly inward. White Lily Bud page 5 Yellow - 7 White ASSEMBLY: 1. Tiger Lily: Working from back to front, insert five 3" lengths of tan chenille through the center area of the tiger lily to create stamens. Thread on 3 brown beads per piece, then bend over the very tip of each stamen. Take a length of green chenille stem and bend it in half and twist it around itself to create a sturdy flower stem. On the back of the tiger lily, secure the stem to the flower by bending the tan pieces of chenille over it. 2. iris: Cut a short length of yellow chenille, and attach it to the iris through the holes of the beads as shown to look like the fuzzy anther of the flower. Create a flower stem the same way you did for the tiger lily. 3. Dragonfly: With blue chenille, insert it half way up through the upper end of the body of the dragonfly, then go back down at the lower end. Create the dragonfly's tail by extending the chenille straight out and thread on the blue glitter beads. Bend the end of the chenille at the tip of th tail. Take the other end of the chenille and twist it around itself to create a sturdy stick to insert into your bouquet. 4. White lily: Layer the three lily pieces and connect with several yellow chenille pieces that become the stamens. Twist the other ends into a sturdy stem. Repeat for the white lily bud. 5. Insert the florist's oasis into the flower pot, then insert the flowers and dragonfly into the oasis.
