2 Inheriting the expertise of artisans, dressed in the pride of "Made in Japan" An Aldex suit is a work of art, tailored exclusively for individual customers with the skills and methods used for classic Italian custom-made suits. We present to you our highly regarded world-class suit styling. Suits have traditionally been tailored in a "spoken" process wherein the tailor converses with the customer to create the clothes to the measure of the customer's build. Ready-made suits must be adjusted to fit the customer, but that is not how we make our suits. We believe that a fine suit not only fits the customer but also brings out the best of his figure in a well-balanced proportion and reflects the wearer s character and taste. It is our wish that our customers feel our passion and love from the suits we make in collaboration with our entire staff.

Our corporate motto is "manufacturing begins with nurturing human resources." Corporate management is all about developing "human resources." Manufacturing can be successful only with trusting relationships among the staff members, a large number of experts working for the company for many years, and an environment wherein our employees and their families are cherished. In our manufacturing, we have integrated the "analogue and digital" by creating a database of various production methods gathered from other industries. Our craftsmen create next-generation clothes by making each suit piece by piece, by hand. Our showrooms in our head office and in Tokyo offer places where the manufacturer and consumer connect. We receive feedback directly from the customers. This helps us experience the joy and sense of accomplishment of making custom classic clothes. My goal is to further enhance our technology and skills to introduce Japanese suit-making to Italy and other countries and to thereby establish an international business. I am determined to cherish the "passion and expertise" of my predecessor and to continue making hand-crafted suits and other clothing that any customer can purchase and enjoy. 1958, November Established as a gentlemen clothes shop inside Maruyo Women's Fashion Store in Hirokoji, Toyohashi City. History Established Maruyo Clothes Industry Co., Ltd. independent from Maruyo Unlimited Partnership. 1963, May Established a new factory inside Yamaguchi Keori Co., Ltd. in Ogasaki-cho, Toyohashi City, installing the industry's first synchronized suit ordering and making system (equipped with 25 motor-driven sewing machines and 10 press machines in m 2 space). 1963, September Started trading with Marubutsu Department Store (later, Seibu Toyohashi). 1972, January Moved the sewing factory to the current location, expanded the facility and production capacity. 1977, January Opened a design room in Kandasakuma-cho, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo as a branch shop. 1979, July Moved the Toyohashi Shop inside Maruyo Building in Kaya-machi, Toyohashi City to the head office factory and re-opened it as a suburb shop-showroom with car parking space. 1979, December Moved Tokyo Branch Shop from Kandasakuma-cho to Nishiazabu. 1981, August Changed the company name to "Aldex Co., Ltd." 1984, February Developed the industry's first CAD custom ordering system (featured in NHK's news program).
