2 PPM Petroleum Policy and Management The goals of the Project is to enable government organizations responsible for petroleum resource management in the CCOP Member Countries to: 1. Establish a sustainable and efficient national petroleum management and policy, 2. Envisage the mechanism and importance in revising and improving their petroleum management and policy arrangements due to changes in political, economic and market conditions, and 3. Enhance their capacity and capability in petroleum resource management, based upon a realistic assessment of their own petroleum potentials utilizing national data. 4 PPM Cambodia case study Specific Objectives to assist the Cambodian National Petroleum Authority and the other participating nations in developing a resource overview of the resources in the frontier offshore basin and identifying the critical elements of a gas field development. to consider appropriate petroleum policies for an optimal exploitation of the resources and value creation for the society. 10 PPM Work Plan for 2006 Dissemination Seminars Purpose case study host team will report the findings and results of the case study to the Management Target Audience - Ministers and/or Deputy(s), Heads of the case study host and participating organizations, and other government organizations working for upstream petroleum The Permanent Representatives of the case study host countries and the Norwegian Ambassador will also be invited. The CCOP TS will be represented by the Director and PPM Project Coordinator. The seminar will last for 2 hours.
