2 Electro-Magetic Flowmeters Series 3000 Magetic Flowmeter COPA-X (Sizes 1/2 to 12 ) All liquids, eve those cotaiig solids, with a miimum electrical coductivity of 5µS/cm ca be measured accurately with the COPA-X magetic flowmeter. The basis of the measuremet is Faraday's law of iductio. A coductive fluid flows through a isulated pipe ad itersects a magetic field. A voltage is iduced withi the fluid that is proportioal to the average flow velocity ad is measured by electrodes mouted o each side of the pipe. The iduced voltage is processed by the sigal coverter to produce aalog ad digital output sigals liearly proportioal to the actual flow. The 10DX3311 utlizes a itegrally mouted 50XM1 Coverter. For remote mouted Coverter, see 10DX3111 specificatios.
