2 1. First recmmendatins: In rder t get a crrect display, it s als essential yu have the mnitr calibrated, refer t the Prfile my mnitr dcument. Refer t the Media type functinality & features and chse the mst apprpriate media. Ensure that the Paper Type setting n the frnt panel crrespnds t the paper that yu intend t use. It is essential that the paper is crrectly clr calibrated fr the printer; refer t the Calibrate my printer dcument. If the paper that yu are using is nt listed, we strngly recmmend creating a new Custm Paper Type, r if yu cannt find a paper type that resembles yurs clsely enugh. Yu can add a custm paper autmatically by using the HP Clr Center; refer t the Add and prfile a new paper type dcument. 2. Open Micrsft Wrd, Excel, Pwer Pint Cnfigure the dcument page size, File menu > Page Setup > Paper tab > Paper Size. 4. Micrsft print windw, File menu > Print...: Printer > Name: Select the printer (ex. HP Designjet Z6100ps 42in Pht). Select the printing ptins yu need, Print range, Cpies, Print what... 3 5. Driver print settings, Prperties buttn: Paper/Quality tab: Paper Optins > Dcument size: Select Custm : Name: Chse a name t identify yur custm paper size. Paper Size: Select the paper size yu need. Click Save and OK. The custm page size yu have just defined will nt becme available fr selectin until yu have exited and re-entered the Printing Prperties dialg bx. Click OK t exit Printer Prperties. Click Prperties buttn again: Paper/Quality tab: Paper Size: Select the paper size yu define n Custm Paper Size. Orientatin: Select the rientatin f yur banner n the paper. Print Quality: Standard Optins and drag the slider t Quality. Check Shw preview befre printing check bx. 3

5 Clr tab > Clr Optins: Select Print in clr. Select Clr management > Printer managed clrs: Default RGB Surce Prfile: Select srgb (HP). Default CMYK Surce Prfile: Select Eurpe ISO Cated FOGRA27 (fr Eurpe), U.S. Web Cated (SWOP) v2 (fr US) and Japan Standard v2 (fr Japan). Rendering Intent: Relative Clrimetric. Check Black Pint Cmpensatin check bx. Click OK twice. 6. Preview yur banner befre printing; check, als, the print settings and the layut f the image (HP Print Preview windws is displayed autmatically). Click Cntinue buttn t prceed with printing r Cancel t cancel the jb. 5
