2 COMPANY PROFILE Axion Microtech started in Ahmadabad, Economic Capital of Gujarat, Axion Microtech started with manufacturing of first ever indigenously developed CNC 4 axis engraing machine. In this fast moving technology era where today's innovations becomes obsolete tomorrow, it gives as immense pride to serve more than 30 industries today. Confidence gained through over-whelming response, to product which survived fierce competition from international tycoons took us still further. In 2005 we first built in dedicated CNC controller entirely designed and developed by us. Continuous efforts to match with industry requirements, show significant improvement in product. Amongst many, one major step ahead was introduction of parallel processing based, faster controller: which enables the machine to follow NURBS & Helical tool path very smoothly. We firmly believe that knowledge is wealth; which increase with sharing. Being manufacturer of 3 axis, 4 axis and up to 6 axis CNC milling-engraving machines, in India & satisfying more than 30 industries we have so much to share with our customers. In our latest development, we provide High speed, High Power(Up to 40 Hp) spindles & linear motors along with absolute positioning feedback system, we make true the concepts of speed machining, the requirement of the time. Although more expensive, their premium quality is the only way to achieve the high accuracy and long life that our customers demand. Ball screws are anchored at both ends and inspected for 100% parallelism to the axis guides. Preloaded ball nuts eliminate backlash. LINEAR SCALES When ball screws rotate, they generate heat, which can cause them to expand. With high duty cycles, ball screw growth can lead to cutting errors. Our electronic thermal compensation(etc) algorithm accurately models this heating effect and compensates for screw position. RECIRCULATING BALL GUIDE WAYS Axion Microtech uses recirculating ball guide ways for each axis of every VMC. These guide ways are preloaded for zero clearance, and provide full load-carrying capacity in all directions. They consume less power, do not require adjustment and are proven to outperform sliding box ways for accuracy and speed. Each guide way is automatically lubricated to guarantee long life.

4 RECIRCULATING BALL GUIDE WAYS V/S BOX WAYS Recirculating ball guide ways are preloaded to provide zero clearance between the movimg surfaces. This increases rigidity and stiffness in all directions, while providing higher accuracy and reliability. Box ways require clearance between the moving surfaces in order to operate. Recirculating ball guides have a very low coefficient of friction, which allows faster movements without any sacrifice of repeatability or positioning accuracy. Box ways have a high coefficient of friction, which results in stick-slip effects that can lead to machine errors. AUTOMATIC LUBRICATION The Axion Microtech automatic lubrication system meters and distributes oil guide ways and ball screws as the machine operates. This ensures that all critical components are lubricated with the correct amount of oil at all times, saving time and reducing maintenance costs. RIGID FOUNDATION MASSIVE CAST-IRON CONSTRUCTION Cast iron is more expensive to buy and machine, but it provides up to ten times the damping capacity of steel. That's why Axion Microtech uses cast iron for all major components. Castings are internally reinforced with heavy ribs to resist flex and damp vibrations, and each casting is thoroughly inspected before and after machining to ensure it is free of
