8 On-site situation Supplied material Presence of architectonic holesdoor into the rough walls. 3 Level bases (when the floor is finished) in the architectonic holes-door Plaster marks. Finished floor height (marked on the rough walls). ATTENTION: CAREFULLY RESPECT THE LEVEL OF THE FLOOR BASES. IF THE LEVEL IS TOO HIGH, THIS MAY COMPROMISE THE FIRE RESISTANT PRO- PERTIES OF THE PRODUCT IN THE WALL. Assembly procedure for MASONRY version 1) Seal 2) Hinges 3) Shims; 0.5 mm (2 per hinge) 4) Shims; 1 mm (2 per hinge) 5) Lock requested 6) Mechanical strike plate 7) Several screws (see each sequence) 8) Brackets (only for plasterboard version (quantity according to perimeter) 9) Flush door closer with return arm (on request) 10) Passive hinge bolts 11) Active hinge bolts 12) Piece of laminate (75 x 50 mm) 13) Thermo-expanding seals (width: mm). Handle on request. 1 2 Locate the aluminium Frame, complete with angle spacers and aluminium strengthening spacers, on the floor bases. Carefully line it up with the plaster marks and plumb as illustrated. Fasten the aluminium Frame to the wall with fire resistant foam (not supplied) or quick-setting cement at some points to give solidity to the product; wait for it to solidify. DURING THIS PHASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STRENGTHE- NING SPACERS OF THE ALUMINIUM FRAME. 3 4 Now fill the empty spaces between the aluminium Frame and the rough wall with cement, being careful not to move the aluminium Frame. Wait at least 12 hours. A Skim plaster the walls, carefully observing the parging line determined by the Frame itself. ATTENTION: WHEN SKIM PLASTERING THE OTHER SIDE NOT FLUSH WITH THE WALL, CAREFULLY RESPECT THE LIMIT INDICATED BY THE SPECIFIC LABEL (see data sheet). GOING OVER THE PARGING LINE WHEN SKIM PLA- STERING MAY COMPROMISE THE PANEL MOVEMENT AND SO THE FLUSH EFFECT IS LOST. REMOVE THE STRENGTHENING SPACERS AND CAREFULLY FILL THEIR HOLES. 9 Assembly procedure for PLASTERBOARD version N.B: The fire resistant properties of the wall must be the same or higher than those of the door. - Positioning the aluminium Frame into the metal frame is only possible if the latter is without plasterboard plates - Reinforce the metal frame with fir tree blocks all along the frame perimeter - Position the aluminium Frame on the floor bases, carefully lining it up with the plaster marks and plumb as illustrated. ATTENTION: CAREFULLY RESPECT THE LEVEL OF THE FLOOR BASES. IF LEVEL IS TOO HIGH, THIS MAY COMPROMISE THE FIRE RESISTANT PRO- PERTIES OF THE PRODUCT IN THE WALL. Inject the fire resistant foam (not supplied) along the frame perimeter to give solidity to the product. Wait for it to solidify. DURING THIS PHASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STRENGTHENING SPACERS FROM THE ALUMINIUM FRAME modello a Tirare 12,5 mm Posizionare la lastra in cartongesso come indicato in figura. Nel modello a Tirare è obbligatorio iniettare la schiuma resistente al fuoco fino al totale riempimento dei profili tubolari del cartogesso, come illustrato in figura. Attenzione: avvitare la lastra di cartongesso direttamente al profilo di alluminio osservando tra le viti un passo minore/uguale a 350 mm. modello a SPINGERE 9,5 mm 12,5 mm 3 Applicare tassativamente 12 lastrine su ogni facciata del telaio in alluminio, come da illustrazione. Posizionare la lastra in cartongesso come indicato in figura, avendo cura di applicare anche una seconda lastra di 9,5 mm sul lato non planare, come indicato in figura. Attenzione: avvitare la lastra di cartongesso direttamente al profilo di alluminio osservando tra le viti un passo minore/uguale a 350 mm. F11 - Maintenance, use and installation book - pag. 9 of 16

10 Assembly phase for MASONRY/ PLASTERBOARD version 6 1 Shim plaster the wall. ATTENTION: OVERLAPPING THE PLASTERBOARD PLATE TO THE PLA- STER LINE MAY COMPROMISE THE DOOR PANEL MOVEMENT AND SO THE FLUSH EFFECT IS LOST. DURING THIS PHASE REMOVE THE STRENGTHENING SPACERS AND CAREFULLY FILL THEIR HOLES. Clean the aluminium Frame with sand paper or steel wool to remove any concrete splatters. AFTERWARDS PAINT USING DISTEMPER OR OTHER PRODUCTS, consulting and carefully observing the data sheet of the product used. THE END RESULT SHOULD BE THE ABSOLUTE INVISIBILITY OF THE ALUMINIUM FRAME IN THE WALL ) After carefully cleaning the wooden panel, uniformly paint it on both sides and on the edge, with primer if panel is supplied rough. Before applying the pre-selected pre-treatment and/or treatment products, consult and carefully observe the data sheet of the product used. NOW FINISH THE PANEL ON BOTH SIDES AND ON THE EDGE. On the panel edge there is a metal identification plate (with the approval and registration number). Once the finishing works are completed, strip the gummed masking tape placed to protect the plate. ATTENTION: ANY VARNISH ACCUMULATING ON THE EDGE MAY ALTER THE UNIFORMITY OF THE GRAZING SURFACE AND COMPROMISE THE MOVEMENT OF THE PANEL Fit the passive hinge bolts, included in the kit, to the hinge side edge of the panel. Use the screws supplied (particle board, black galvanised, T+ flat-head screws, 3x40). Once the finishing works on the panel are completed, strip the gummed masking tape placed to protect the incased door closer fitted to the panel upper edge. Fit the active hinge bolts, included in the kit, to the lock side edge of the panel, as illustrated. Use the screws supplied (particle board, black galvanised, T+ flat-head screws, 3x40). 11 A 6 7 Fit the hinges to their assigned positions using the screws supplied (particle board, T+ flat-head screws, 5x35). Fit the thermo-expanding seals in their assigned positions on the panel, as illustrated, being careful to shape them matching all the accessories present on the panel (hinge bolts, hinges, lock, door closer). The seals are self-adhesive. A 10 mm 10 mm 10 mm 15 mm 8 9 Cover the door closer body incased in the panel using the thermo-expanding seals, as illustrated, being careful to shape them matching the valves regulating the closing speed and force. Fit the thermo-expanding seals to their positions on the lower edge of the panel, as illustrated. 15 mm Fit the stop seals, as illustrated. 10 mm Fit the lock supplied in the kit, already protected by the proper seals on the faces. 12 A Fit the lock strike plate in its position on the frame. Use the screws supplied (self-tapping, T+ flat-head screws, 3.5x13). Place the piece of laminate (75x50 mm) supplied at the back of the lock strike plate. Position it as illustrated depending the thickness of the wall is. Fix it with acetic silicon. For mediumthick walls, carefully shape the piece Install the door closer guide in its position on the frame. Fix it using the screws included in the door closer kit. Install the panel on the frame; place the hinges in their positions using the screws supplied (white galvanised, T+ flat-head screws, M5x25). If necessary, level the panel grazing surface on the aluminium Frame by using the supplied PVC shims, measuring 0.5-1mm, in order to thicken the hinges Place the door closer return arm according to the assembly and adjustment instructions included in the door closer kit. Once the panel has been fitted, check that the passive hinge bolts (hinges side) protrude at least 7 mm, as shown in the figure. ATTENTION: THE APPLICATION OF VARNISHES, GLUES, SILICONES, WALLPAPER ON ONLY ONE SIDE OF THE DOOR PANEL COMPROMISES THE PLANARITY OF THE PANEL ITSELF. ALWAYS FINISH AND/OR TREAT THE PANEL ON BOTH SIDES AND ON THE EDGE (for further information and/or support regarding finish procedures, contact our Technical Office).
