3 The strength of Heywood Vloeren: 'Bespoke and Beyond' Since 1998 the Van der Heijden brothers are producing in Oss, The Netherlands Bespoke Hardwood Flooring for the domestic and international markets. With their family owned factory the Van der Heijden brothers are the second generation following in the footsteps of their father, who introduced them into the timber industry. Presently the focus is on the production of unique wooden floors for their middle and high end global customers. The Heywood range covers 2-layer engineered 'Multiplank' (Duoplank) woodflooring, solid wooden floors and overlay parquet. A wide range of designs, dimensions, thicknesses and colours with treatments like brushed, distressed, smoked, aging and handscraping techniques, mostly finished with oil. Our production will be carefully customized to meet the specific demands of our clients. Our high quality, flexible Bespoke approach and reliability has greatly contributed to our success. Heywood floors are being specified by customers, architects and designers in many beautiful international locations, both residential and commercial. Suitability for UFH - All our engineered European Oak floors have a toplayer on WBP Birch plywood. Both birch and oak have a high heat conductivity value (HCV). Therefore all Heywood engineered floors are perfectly suitable for the use over under floor heating (UFH).

5 Product Range Although Heywood's is mainly focussed on engineered woodflooring program, we are proud to inform that we also produce and offer solid wooden floors and classic overlay parquet. More details about our possibilities in solid wood and overlay parquet can be found in our international pricelist. Engineered Wooden Flooring All Heywood's engineered wood flooring is offered in a 2-layer 'Multiplank' construction with a sawn cut top layer of your choosen wood veneer on a backing of WBP Birch Plywood. Our products are offered in thickness 20/5,5mm and 15/4mm. A wide range of engineered wide plank and pattern floors is available in aged character or in bespoke elegance or bespoke character style. New for 2015 is our range of engineered genuine reclaimed wood. Solid Wooden Flooring Heywood Vloeren offers a wide range of options in woodspecies, size and finishing for people who prefer a Solid Wooden Floor. Heywood's offers Solid European Plank flooring in for example 'thickness x width' from 20x100mm upto 20x300mm in various Rustic grades and in Select grade. Some grading/size restrictions do apply! All boards can be treated, coloured and finished as per customers own 'Bespoke specification', so that we can design the floor you have in mind. Apart from Oak, we also produce solid wooden floors in other wood species like: Afromosia, Afzelia Pachyloba, Afzelia Doussie, American Walnut, American White Oak, American White Ash, Canadian White Maple, Canadian Brown Maple, Jatoba, Merbau, French Pine, Curupixa, Russian Pine, Sucupira and Wengé.

Filtering all the options is very beneficial for narrowing down all the options available, so that the floor which best reflects the style and ambiance you like to create, can be produced by Heywood in the thickness, colour and dimensions of your choice. Aged Hardwood Floors Heywood offers two different styles of textured surfaces in their range of 2-layer engineered aged hardwood floors: Aged Antique and Aged Knotting Hill. Each aged flooring collections has a unique look and powerful own character in the warm natural atmosphere they create. The few colour options shown, give a good impression of the almost unlimited possibilities we offer. Our Bespoke Colouring and Size Services (BCSS), enable you to order your floor in the colour and dimensions of your preference. Some size restrictions do apply.

18 Pattern & Panel Floors Apart from (extra) wide and (extra) long Plank floors, Heywood also offers a wide range of Bespoke size and colouring options in 2-layer engineered pattern and panel floors, such as Herringbone, Chevron, Versailles, Basket Weave and Echelle patterns. Below the 3 main patterns. All enquiries for Versailles panels will be handled as a special order. Herringbone All our 2-layer engineered Herringbone floors have a Groove on 3-sides and a Tongue on 1-long side. A loose tongue will be provided separately. Bold items are stocked unfinished with microbevel on 4-sides. Our Herringbone can also be installed in Basket Weave-, Dutch- or Briquette pattern. Most Herringbone design colours can also be ordered as Chevron / Hungarian Point. 20 Chevron / Hungarian Point Our 2-layer engineered chevron pattern, also called Hungarian point, can be ordered in a 45 degrees model (our standard) or in a 30/60 degree angle as special order. All our Chevron floors have a groove on 3-sides and a tongue on 1-long side. A loose tongue will be provided separately. Bold item is stocked in Select grade unfinished with microbevel on 4-sides. For inspiration kindly look at the design colours of Herringbone range. These colours can also be ordered in a Chevron pattern. 21 Reclaimed Wood New is our beautiful program of 2-layer engineered genuine Reclaimed Wood of old 'Lifetime Oak' and 'Century-D Oak & Elm and Reclaimed Barnwood. Lovely powerful natural colour variations and patina of untreated wood which has been weathered and dried by centuries of exposure to the harshness of the elements. This rare but very fashionable genuine reclaimed wood has its own audience and is extremely well suited for unique high-end wooden floor applicaties en trendy wall- ceiling panels. It fits a designers niche amongst architects and other connoisseurs. Colour variations subject to delivery. Reclaimed Venasque Plank 'Venasque surface' is the original rough textured outside of both our Reclaimed Wood Classifications: The outside of the reclaimed wood of some 200+ years old is classified as 'Century-D Venasque' in a mix of browns and greys, from light to dark with a stronger character then new oak. Our Century-D wood features some stunning natural dark cracks and nail holes and a stable colour patina which cannot be influenced by UV-light anymore. The outside of the reclaimed wood of some 80 years old is classified as 'Lifetime Venasque' and is usually somewhat lighter and brown/greyish in colour. The Venasque outside can be installed untreated and doesn't require further maintenance. 23 Reclaimed Compiègne Plank The 'Compiègne surface' is the smooth, sanded and brushed inside of both wood classifications and more light coloured. The reclaimed wood of some 200+ years old is classified as 'Century-D'. The reclaimed wood of some 80 years old is classified as 'Lifetime'. 'Century-D Oak Compiègne' in a mix of mature golden browns with dark cracks and nailholes. 'Lifestyle Oak Compiègne' in mixed medium browns with some dark cracks and holes. The Compiègne surface needs to be oiled and maintained.
