SMOOTH A smooth surface with multiple coats of lacquer brings a timeless classic and sophisticated style to the floor while highlighting the natural beauty of the wood. However, this style may not be suitable for rooms with heavy foot traffic. BRUSHED Wire brushed floor offers a toothed and rough texture that accentuates the natural grain of the wood. This texture has become popular among busy families for its authentic and urban look as well as the masking effects of minor scratches, dirt, and dust. HANDSCRAPED Hand-scraped floor is scraped to create indentations and a wave like appearance on the surface. This style adds a natural and rustic feel to the space and works well in rooms with high traffic. The textured surface camouflages small scratches or dents. They bring a durable and protective surface to the wood while maintaining the unique character and beauty of the wood. NATURAL OIL Natural oil finishes are made from natural resources that enhance the natural beauty of the wood. The oil-based finish creates a matte appearance, masking scratches and dents on the floor surface. The natural oil soaks deeply into the wood and strengthens the wood fiber. UV LACQUER UV lacquer finish is subtle and matte finish that gives the floor an authentic natural look. Floors with UV lacquer are durable and provide protection to high traffic rooms. Vineyard cm WAX OIL Wax oil finishes is all-natural and environmentally friendly. In wax oil finish, oil penetrates into wood pores, protecting the wood from deep stains. Waxes create a film on the wood surface that protect the floor surface from wearing. American *Hard Maple APPEARANCE A light to medium reddish brown with a straight grain. The texture is typically a fine & even. A dark brown to deep chocolate brown hues with a fairly straight grain. A white cream to reddish brown & a straight grain with an uneven, coarse texture. A light to medium brown with a straight grain and a medium to coarse texture. A white to darker grey brown colours. A prominent and straight grain with a coarse and uneven texture. A creamy white to pale reddish brown with a straight grain, and a fine & even texture. A wide variation in colour between white, reddish brown and dark brown with a coarse texture. An orange-brown to reddish brown hues. Its grain is mostly interlocked with a medium to coarse texture. ** The Janka scale is an industry standard tool for measuring the hardness of wood flooring.
