1 GAME DESIGN PORTFOLIO SERCAN ŞENGÜN 2017 CURRENT AFFILIATIONS 1 BUG Game Bahçeşehir University Project: INSPECTOR TURING Role: Game Designer Release: Q Inspector Turing is an educational game developed by BUG Game Lab & Joyful Works UK for TURING (Turkish Automobile Federation). The game aims to teach kids about traffic rules and safety. The players assume the role of a traffic inspector and travel through the famous cities and landmarks of Turkey in 15 levels, observing and regulating traffic. The game is currently in soft launch state and will be available in 5 languages worldwide in Q Joyful Works, UK Project: PAINTING GALLERY WITH NIRU NIRU & FRIENDS Role: Game Designer, Art Director Release: 2015 Painting Gallery with Niru Niru & Friends is an educational game developed by Joyful Works UK. The game is an innovative painting app for kids. Kids can create their own templates to paint, use a variety of stickers, and frame and arrange their creations in their own gallery wall. Parents can record their voice-overs for color names so that kids can learn the colors from a familiar voice. With no invasive advertising or in-app purchases (IAP's), this game provides safe, quality entertainment for the whole family!

2 2 Joyful Works, UK Project: PAINTING GALLERY WITH NIRU NIRU & FRIENDS (Cont.) Role: Game Designer, Art Director Best Apps for Kids This app is intuitive and fun to use, making it perfect for the under-five crowd for which it is intended. The app will undoubtedly also foster language skills since young children tend to create art with a running dialog. No two creations will be alike, and the ability to rearrange them in the gallery can make the collection seem fresh and new. Geeks with Juniors The moment you open the app, you will see all the artwork neatly displayed in colorful frames just like a real gallery. This is a great design decision, as it invokes in kids a sense of pride over their work, and encourage them to keep creating new paintings to fill up the empty frames. At the same time, it s also a great way for parents to quickly see all the drawings their child has created. MH Family Reviews Where things get interesting is in the choice of stickers (over 100 of them) that you can add to your picture, rotating, resizing and placing them wherever you like so that they fit into your composition perfectly. The really ingenious thing is that you can choose white ones to colour in too, so you are basically able to create your own colouring pages. Kiddy Charts This is a twist on a standard painting app because children have specific characters that they can get to know within the pictures that they build. In addition, the app enables limited personalised learning due to ability to add sounds when colours are picked from the palette. We were very impressed the with range of tools that are offered to create the pictures. Overall though, a lovely little painting app, which will keep your little ones entertained while you grab five minutes break or encourage them to create their own little world but watch out the Octopus doesn t get you while your back is turned. Play 3 mini games where you get to build toys by combining toy parts, pack toys by catching them with a gift box and deliver toys by avoiding flying objects while driving Santa's Sleigh. Altogether, the games help enhance the hand eye coordination of the playing child, in a fun action setting. With no invasive advertising or in-app purchases (IAP's), this game provides safe, quality entertainment for the whole family! More games for Niru Niru & Friends franchise are in the works. Our aim is to release one game per year (two if we are feeling super energetic). 4 Works, UK 2 Joyful Project: FOLDMASTER Role: Game Designer, Art Director Release: 2018 TBC Foldmaster is an anime-style puzzle adventure game for mobile platforms. In the game, you will need to solve puzzles in order to help our young protagonist Abby, to become the best laundry folder in Laundropolis. In Laundropolis, laundry folding is a big deal! There is harsh competition across laundromats and even inside the same laundromat, there is rivalry between folding teams. Help Abby to become the best laundry folder, gain the trust of customers, beat her rivals and manage the best laundromat in the city.

The ios versions of Devada games have been retracted from Appstore however Android APKs are still available for download. Project: PATHIKA Role: Game Designer, Art Director Release: 2013 Pathika is a puzzle game in which you are required to make correct use of tiles and colors in order to overcome the challenges. Pathika also has a layered narrative in which you control brothers Yin and Yang as they try to uncover a plot that threatens their homeland; Geometrika. The game consists of 5 acts each containing 50 levels that will get harder as the story unfolds. Pathika is an excellent first attempt at a game, as well as a refreshing take on puzzle games. Project: DEVADA QUIZ APPS SERIES Role: Game Designer, Art Director Release: 2013 Quiz Apps series is a group of simple, fast play trivia show apps with innovative game play mods: Quiz Apps: Hollywood, Quiz Apps: World Football, Quiz Apps: European Soccer, Quiz Apps: World Cities. I did test this app out with my friends and we actually had a blast. The app has game modes that actually encourage social gaming, whether you be beside your friends or through online platforms like Facebook, where you can post and brag about your score. AppsPirate 4 Freelance Analogue Game Design Project: A MURDER MOST FOWL Role: Game Designer, Art Director Release: 2016 A Murder Most Fowl is a peculiar print-and-play card game about crypto communication and people reading. 2 or 3 teams of 2-players each (which means the game is played by either 4 or 6 players) compete against each other to solve the murder of Colonel Robin Poor, who is a cock of international importance. The game is loosely inspired by the English nursery rhyme "Who Killed Cock Robin" especially Henry Louis Stephens 1865 book version which is named; "Death and Burial of Poor Cock Robin."
