PALM ISLAND offers the most comfortable training grounds for robot programmers. Programmers-in-training come here and are prepared for the future in a gentle and luxurious environment. The knowledge and experience gained from training at PALM ISLAND gives programmers the ability to embark on other DSRA prospective missions from dangerous outer space to deep sea locations.

Commander Roxie Rivet-minder is in charge of your training. As a rescue bot programmer in training, your main task is to program your robot to complete the boardwalk path.

New starting points will unlock as you complete your mission. Complete the tasks by using either The Versatile BUGGYBOT or The Faster MAMMALBOT. Find detailed robot specifications on the next page. But that s not all The Commander is also hosting a Luau-style party for some very influential bots and you need to help!

5 There can t be a party without food and drinks. Pick up coconuts when you see them. Drive into them and your robot will do the rest. There are 12 names on the guest list, so collect a minimum of 4 clusters. Try collecting all 5, in case there are any last minute guests. Once you have collected them; drop them off at the Coconut Slab near the main Tiki hut. You will also need to set the lobster traps. The traps were placed on the docks by the last group of trainees. Just push them in the water and catch fresh lobster. Just like the coconuts, you ll need to push at least 4 Lobster traps into the water, but pushing all 5 will make sure there s more than enough. Maps and other resources have been provided, use them whenever necesarry. They can be accessed from the Media section in the Main Menu.

Once you get to the Luau Lounge area of the island, you will be in wireless range and will be able to directly control your robot and gripper. Look for an area named Luau Lounge on the MAP.

Use the WASD keys on the Keyboard to move the ROBOT. W - Forward S - Reverse A - Turn Left D - Turn Right To open and close the gripper, use the open bracket and close bracket keys on your keyboard. Keeping the island clean is a top priority. Prepare the area for the Luau by placing trash bins around the island. You will be guided where to place them as you go through the training. Place a minimum of 4 Trash bins on the Trash Drop-off Pads. Use the Map to locate the Trash Drop-off Pads around the Luau Lounge area.

7 You will lose signal if your robot moves too far away from the satellite on the main Tiki hut or falls in the water. Press the in-game Help button any time for an explanation of how to interact with the game. Use the MAP from the In-Game Interface to access New Starting Points and Step by step Tutorials. The Starting Points change in to a bright yellow graphic once they have been unlocked within the world After you complete all the missions, invitations will be sent out and guests will start pouring in.

If you do not have a CS2N Account, click the CREATE CS2N ACCOUNT Button. Access all the Badges earned In-Game from the BADGES section of the MAIN MENU. Configure your own levels out of a wide selection of classroom-themed assets: balls, cylinders, boxes, walls, line tracking tiles, and more. Challenge yourself, or share your levels with students, classmates, or teammates. It s a free download for all ROBOTC for RVW users. The NEW update includes a long list of features and improvements, the biggest being the ability to IMPORT your own 3D objects from Solidworks and Inventor.
