3 Search Engines The recommended search engine for the Baptist Health South Florida Physician's Site is Internet Explorer. Other search engines may work, but the user will experience technical difficulties during the Post test and Evaluation portion of the online content. Are you using Internet Explorer? If no, please refer to a free downloadable version of Internet Explorer. (See Seach engines, above.) Do you have Adobe Flashplayer installed on your computer? If no, within the course please go to Course Overview, Technical Requirements section for a free downloadable version of Adobe Flashplayer. (See Below.) 3

4 Pop Up Blockers How do I know if my Pop Up blocker is blocking something on the Baptist Health South Florida Physician's Site ( Turning Off Pop Up Blockers There are three ways to deactivate blockers to allow pop ups on the Baptist Health South Florida Physician's site. 1. Completely turn off the pop up blocker. 2. Add To the "allow list". This will allow for pop ups from this site only, while blocking pop ups for all other sites. 3. Press and hold the CTRL key while clicking a link that opens a pop up on This will override Pop Up Blocker just for that one click and allow any pop up windows resulting from the click to appear. You will have to hold down the CTRL key before clicking the link every time you click on a link that is currently being blocked. 4

8 Pop Up Blocker from the Google Tool Bar When you tell Google s pop up blocker to "Always allow pop ups" on a particular site, that site is added to what Google calls a "White List". Please note that it is not possible to view or manually edit the "White List". You can add and remove sites from this list only by toggling the Pop up Blocker button on and off. 8

12 AOL Pop Up Blocker To completely turn off your pop up blocker on the most recent version of AOL: 1. Click on Settings. 2. Click on Preferences. 3. Scroll down to Pop ups. 4. Remove the check mark next to Suppress pop ups from websites I visit using AOL software. 5. Click Save. To keep your pop up blocker on, but allow pop ups on the Baptist Health South Florida Physician's site (recommended): When you are accessing any web page, a menu is available at the bottom of the window to allow pop ups from that site. You need to click on and select Allow pop ups from this site. 12
