11 Stencil Options: STENCILS Directions Step 1: Laminate your new stencil at an office supply store. Step 2: Cut out black areas with scissors. Step 3: Find the surface to make your mark. Step 4: Use one or both of these methods. Dust stencil: Sift flour or powdered chalk* over stencil to leave your temporary eco-friendly message. TIPS: 1. Don t spill! When removing stencil, be careful to keep letters nice and crisp. 2. Your message will last longer on asphalt than on other surfaces. Clean stencil: To reveal your message, remove dirt by using a strong cleaning agent and something to scrub with (toothbrush, steel wool, or even a power scrubber). TIPS: 1. Secure edges of stencil with tape. 2. Don t rush! Go over the surface 2 to 3 times. *These are suggested art materials. Please be sure to use washable and temporary products. Directions Step 1: Cut a piece of canvas (or recycle a sheet) to a reasonable length for walking (at least 5 ft.). Step 2: Use included One Day Without Shoes logo stencil on both ends of walkway.
