1 GRADE K 2018/2019 School Supply List The classroom teachers have given us a list of the supplies your youngster will need. Supplies for the 1 st day of school: 1 backpack 2 Plastic 2-pocket folder (bottom pockets) with child s name on the outside 1 box of Crayola crayons (at least a 64 pack) 1 box of watercolor magic markers (thick washable) 1 box of watercolor magic markers (thin washable) 20 sharpened pencils (yellow only) 1 recent photo of your child (that may be cut) 1 plastic supply box (not too big) labeled with name Supplies for the 2 nd day of school: 2 thick yellow highlighters 6 glue sticks 1 hard-covered unlined notebook *Please Label with your child s name on the front The unlined notebook can be found at Staples, Wantagh 5&10 1 box of large or small ziplock bags Supplies for the 3 rd day of school: 1 Elmer s white glue 1 clipboard (8x12 with your child s name on it) 1 roll of paper towels 2 container/box of wipes Note DO NOT LABEL pencils, glue, glue sticks, highlighters, and crayons. Please remove the cardboard backing from all glue sticks, markers, highlighters and pencils. Place all these supplies in a large Ziploc bag with your child s name written on it in permanent bold marker. Please send in a healthy snack with a juice box the first day Children should bring a HEALTHY snack and drink to school every day. Milk can be purchased for snack, details to follow. Water bottles should be brought to school every day, especially on very hot days! purchase those items above that were not included in the kit.

Please have a reserve supply at home. 1 Plastic Supply box (to fit inside your child s desk, approx. 8x5 with your child s name) 1 3-Ring Binder (1 ½ inch) with Plastic Front Pocket 1 school bag 1 lunch box 1 White button down shirt to be used as a science lab coat Headphones for computer use (put in a zip-lock bag with your child s name) Zip-lock bags Boys-1 Gallon Size; Girls-Sandwich Size Labels - Please put your child's name in boots, raincoats, sweaters, etc. PLEASE LABEL ALL ITEMS WITH YOUR CHILDS NAME. PUT ALL THE SUPPLIES IN A ZIP-LOC BAG WITH YOUR CHILD S NAME ON IT. Some items will be collected and distributed throughout the school year as the need arises.
