1 COVENTRY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KINDERGARTEN SUPPLY LIST standard sized backpack * Small backpacks will not hold our folders. No rolling backpacks please. These are too tall for the children and cause tripping in the hall. 4 boxes of 24 skinny Crayola crayons 1 8-1/2 X 5-1/2 standard plastic school box without a handle. 1- black and white composition book Blunt-tipped children s scissors 8- (0.77 oz) Large glue sticks (to be replenished as needed) 1- two pocket vinyl/plastic folder without prongs. (This needs to be durable enough to last as your child s take home folder.) 1 blue two pocket vinyl/plastic folder with prongs 4- large erasers (with name on them) 1 pack of 8 washable magic markers, in the basic colors, to be used in the classroom 1 box of tissues 1 box of sandwich sized baggies (boys) 1 box of baby wipes (girls) 1 pack of 24 colored pencils, sharpened 1 box of gallon sized Ziploc baggies (boys) 1 roll of white paper towels (girls) 2 bottle of hand sanitizer 1 roll of masking tape 4 pack of Black Dry Erase Markers *Supplies will need to be replenished during the school year. If you are able, please bring your child s school supplies when you attend the Kindergarten Open House.

All other materials are available in the classroom.

3 Second Grade Supply List boxes of yellow # 2 pencils (sharpened) 2 pink or white block erasers (not pencil toppers please) 1 pack of purple ink pens (at least 2 in the pack please) 2 marbled composition books 2-1 in. white binders 3 regular 2-pocket folders (with holes to go in binders) 1 package of page dividers for the binders 2-10 pack of clear sheet protectors (or 1-20 pack) 1 standard sized pencil box (no small pouches please) 4 boxes Crayola crayons (24 count please) 1 box of Crayola washable markers 1 pair of scissors (no plastic or blunt tip) 12 large sized glue sticks 1 pack of black EXPO dry erase markers 1 pack of yellow highlighters 3 large boxes of tissues 1 large container of Clorox wipes 1 package of Post-it notes BOYS- 1 pack of copy paper GIRLS- Ziploc bags: 1 gallon size and 1 sandwich size 1 12 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer *Please re-supply crayons, markers, and glue sticks as needed during the year.

5 Fourth Grade Supply List Two 3-ring binders (1 ½ ) Pack of dividers (1 10-tab or 2 5-tab) Sheet protectors (10 pack) Loose leaf wide-ruled notebook paper (2 packs) One single-subject, wide-ruled spiral notebook One composition book Four vinyl 3-prong folders with pockets (different colors) One vinyl RED two-pocket folder (without prongs) Pack of #2 pencils Pack of colored pencils Red marking pens Highlighters (multi-color pack) Black dry erase markers (at least 3-pack) and eraser 6 glue sticks Student scissors 1 plastic pencil case or pouch 3 boxes of tissues 1 large canister of disinfecting wipes (boys) 1 large hand sanitizer w/ pump (girls) Personal earbuds or headphones (optional) Multiplication flash cards through 12x12 (for home use, see parent letter on back) Please replenish supplies throughout the year as needed.

6 Dear Parents, We hope that your child s summer vacation is not only fun and relaxing, but also an opportunity for them to continue to learn while exploring new interests and activities. In preparation for your child s fourth grade year, we strongly encourage our rising fourth graders to begin practicing and memorizing their multiplication facts through 12 over the summer. Doing so will help your child with their transition to fourth grade math. We wish you and your family a safe summer and we look forward to seeing our new fourth graders in the fall.
