Are you eager to fill in some of those empty spots in your collection now? Maybe you are considering a new direction for your collection. With that in mind, we would like to present you with this diverse list of Early Canada Classics and Modern Varieties. Early Canada listings include something from most stamp issues including Pence and First Cents, Large and Small Queens, Jubilees, Quebec Tercentenary, Admirals and others. This list features several rare covers including Pence and First Cents, First Day Scroll Issue covers, Airmail, Private Commercial Airmail, and a rare Brown War Tax tied on Katherine Stinson folded letterhead, (Lot 131). For the Small Queen specialist looking to expand the breadth of their collection, we have listed a small quantity of defaced plate proof blocks and sheet, printed to verify the plate s destruction - all unique position pieces. A beautiful set of 1937 George VI & 1938 Pictorial large Die Proofs in issued colours is featured on pages 14 & 15 - a showpiece set of 12 Die Proofs! If you are looking for Modern Canada errors and varieties, we have listed some beauties! How about a unique showpiece block of 20 of the 1 MacDonald Caricature Issue Printed on Gum side (pictured on the back cover). This is from the only sheet of 100 found! We have also listed a number of other varieties such as several imperforates, perf and printing shifts, and some striking missing colours such as the desirable Ghost Town error, (Lot 098), 42 Canada in Space missing hologram, (Lot 119), 50 Rooster missing red, (Lot 128), and the rare (only the third known) 45 Year of the OX missing gold and tagging, (Lot 121). Back of the Book stamps include a good selection of Airmail, Registration, War Tax and Officials, followed by Canada-Revenues, and stamps of the Provinces of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island.
