3 CATALOGUE #615 Page 3 Welcome to Saskatoon Stamp Centre s Catalogue 615. This first catalogue of 2018 features a nice variety of material, some of which hasn t been seen on the market for quite some time. Lot 013 for example, pictured on the front cover is a rare showpiece of 1903 King Edward VII 2 Carmine Imperforate gutter strips of 4 from Plates 31, 32 & 43 with Red or black ink lines. Also of note are a number of lots from the 1937 King George VI Issue including 1 to 8 Die Proofs, Imperforate pairs, and a beautiful set of 1 to 8 Imperforate blocks of 4. We are also happy to present several rare and striking modern errors. We have included some dramatic missing colours and imperforates, as well as a few rare Printed on the Gum stamps such as Lot 055, 8 Red Winter Sports vertical strip of 4, (only 1 sheet of 50 of this error is known and only 2 vertical strips of 4 different stamps exist). Other appealing errors such as Printing and Perf shifts are also offered and would make starring additions to modern collections. Postage Due blocks, War Tax coils, and Official Plate Blocks make up several of the popular Back of the Book stamps listed, while our offerings of Canada-Revenues feature British Columbia Law, Saskatchewan Law, Weights and Measures and Telegraph Franks. From our Provinces, we offer stamps of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and a beautiful used 6d Dark Green Nova Scotia #5. We seldom carry stamps from countries other than Canada, but we make a striking exception with our last Lot in this catalogue; Great Britain 10d Dull Purple & Carmine overprinted O.W. OFFICIAL in Black. A beautiful example of this great rarity. This stamp comes with British Philatelic Association and Philatelic Foundation certificates and is offered at a price well below its catalogue value. We hope you enjoy this list of early classics and modern errors. We value your business and endeavour to help you make your collections enjoyable and remarkable. Also, interest-free monthly terms are normally available to help make your purchases fit your budget. **Important note to US Customers** We have listed the US$ exchange prices at 81%. If payment is made with a US$ cheque, we will honour the prices listed. If you are paying by credit card, we must charge your purchase in Canadian dollars and when you receive your credit card bill, it will show the conversion of the Canadian dollar amount to your currency at the current rate used by the credit card company - this rate may vary considerably. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard, cheque, bank wire transfer (in C$, US$ or ), or money order, (we cannot accept US Postal money orders or any Travellers Cheques). HST residents will be charged the applicable Provincial portion of the tax, (ON, NB, NL, NS, PEI). Please call for exact amount.
